It seems as though coconut water is the latest thing. I don't like it! It always looks so refreshing but it tastes weird to me!

Love it! And it's SO healthy for you! I didn't like it at first, but I kept drinking it and it grew on me. I tend to like things more when I know how healthy they are, too.

Oh god, no no no!! I can tolerate the flavored ones (like chocolate) but actual coconut water - no way. I won't even tell you what I think it tastes like... Funny thing is, I love coconut too!

Oh gosh, I just bought a can because I heard that it was AWESOME for labour. Yep, couldn't even choke it down. Which is so unfortunate, because I WANT to like it.

I'm drinking this pineapple-coconut water and it tastes salty...I'm TRYING to like it...
The reason I'm drinking it is because my midwife says it has a lot of electrolytes in it, which can help with my leg cramps. I'm sort of thinking leg cramps might be worth not drinking this stuff...LOL!

@Rubies: Oh gosh...eat a banana or drink some gatorade, haha. Both are good for leg cramps (and no salty coconut water!)

I started drinking coconut water when I had bad leg cramps during pregnancy. I like the tropical fruit and mango or orange kind only. I won't tell you what I think plain coconut water tastes like.

I don't like it at all. I always tell DH that it tastes like someone boiled their sweaty gym socks and bottled it! Yuck yuck yuck!!

I only liked it when I had it straight from the coconut in Hawaii. I drink it when I'm sick though but only the flavored ones. I've been drinking it before it was cool! Haha.

I love the flavored stuff that has a bit of juice mixed in. Sometimes DH buys me the plain stuff (forgetting I don't like it) and I feel obligated to drink it because he went out of his way and it's kind of expensive haha.

I LOVE coconut water, especially with pulp! I use it in a kale/mango smoothie, and drink it straight up. Already have two cans in my hospital bag.

I really like plain coconut water, but not the flavored and not coconut milk. It's too expensive for me to buy on a regular basis.

I don't like the taste of any of it, plain coconut water or flavored coconut water. I wanted so badly to like it since it seems to be good for you but I just can't bring myself to drink it. I tastes like a foot to me.

I'm not a fan but DH and LO loves it. I buy it from Amazon and try to catch it for $10-$13 per case through the warehouse deals. The expiration date is usually a few months away, but we don't mind. The two of them go through it so fast.

Someone here talked about loving coconut water. I just didn't get it. Then I found a good deal on amazon and now get it shipped monthly. Mmmm, coconut water is so good. I don't drink enough water so coco water is a great alternative.

@Rubies: I drink a few a day just to get rid of the cramps!!! I also eat bananas too. They have these flavored ones I'm really liking at costco (I'm sure they're in regular grocery stores too, but these are in a multi-pack for $12.50_)

This thread literally made me have to go out and get some! I only like the plain, and only if it's quite cold...but when those two things are happening, I love love love it. I've heard someone say it tastes like feet haha

I love coconut water, it really helped with my milk supply when I was breastfeeding to be so hydrated.

Vita coconut makes one with mango and peach purée. That's how I started to love it. When I tried the regular flavor, I wasn't too thrilled with it. I'll still drink it, though. DH definitely likes the flavored one.

@Rubies: I drank a TON of coconut water the 2nd half of my pregnancy too. I used to hate coconut with a passion, but coconut water grew on me more and more. I hate bananas and coconut water has a lot of potassium for the leg cramps!
