I do! I haven't been eating them though, and it's made life boring. A friend came over for a playdate and brought a bag of bagels with some cream cheese... and I was sad. I sliced the bagels up for everyone, then I went into the bathroom and cried. Ok not really, but I was crying inside.

@mrbee: No but it makes it less doughy and you get more of the taste of the exterior, which I love! And when you toast them, they get crispier.

Nope! Not a fan. They're dense texture is too much for me. Plus, I don't like cream cheese at all. I'm all for croissants though!

Sesame bagels! I try not to eat bagels too often but when i do it's with cream cheese. There are no good bagel places where i live.

God I love bagels sooooo much. Whenever I start getting a little chunky I immediately cut myself off from bagels and pasta since those are my two biggest weaknesses.
My fave is either cinnamon sugar toasted with butter or sesame NOT toasted with cream cheese. Mmmmmmmmm.

@Mrs. High Heels: I've seen very few places out West that boil their bagels first. Most places out here just bake them, so they don't taste right.

My favorite is a whole wheat bagel with olive cream cheese. I have only ever found olive cream cheese at this one bagel shop in Harrisburg, PA, but it is awesome and every time we go home for a weekend, we got get some. YUM. If I can't get that, I like plain or whole wheat with butter. I know, I'm boring.

My favorite is french toast bagels with hazelnut cream cheese from panera.
I also love NY bagels and when I"m there I get plain with strawberry cream cheese (real strawberries in it) from a little cafe on 8th between 42nd and 43rd. Delish!

I could live on bagels. I get everything (or salt when I'm not all swollen!) with veggie cream cheese and tomato and onion. I also like kalamata olive cream cheese. I never get them outside of NY or NJ though, you're just asking for disappointment if you're used to NY bagels.

Bagels are seriously one of my favorite foods, but I try not to eat them cause I lean toward Paleo. boohooo. The first tri has totally screwed with that though and I had one EVERY MORNING last week (wheat with whipped cream cheese) and it was seriously heaven. I used to argue with myself aloud about whether or not to have a bagel for breakfast at my old job, and my officemate finally said "Jojo, it's a bagel, not crack." Same difference

I love onion bagels with cream cheese! I don't buy them, though, because I overload them with cream cheese and it's very unhealthy. But so delicious.

Ugh I LOVE bagels. Not eating grains right now either so this thread is making me cry too, @mrbee. I love the Cinnamon Crunch bagels from Panera - they are basically like donuts though! Or an untoasted salt bagel with cream cheese... mmmmm....
