My husband takes care of himself. He keeps himself in a better state than I do! (granted-- I work at home so yoga pants are basically my life). He's very clean, showers every day first thing, keeps his facial hair trimmed, uses my face lotion when his gets dry, gets haircuts every 2 mo, and wears nice clothes. He just likes looking nice.

My only complaint is his feet. bahhhhhh so gross lol. He doesn't keep his toenails in acceptable shape, IMO. I made him go with me to get a pedicure once bc I couldn't handle it anymore haha.

@Danizaur: how did you get your husband to lotion on a regular basis? My husband won't even try it.

@Danizaur: Yea I'm the "dirty" one in our relationship haha. Unless we're going out or seeing people I generally don't shower on sundays… because Meh. Whereas my husband has to shower first thing or he "doesn't feel human"? Lol

Also he's an accountant. It's not like he gets very dirty in life.

I generally don't care what he wears, but I do make him wear actual pants when I deem the occasion appropriate. But he lets his toenails get longer than is decent, and doesn't cut them until I complain enough. It's so gross.

Mostly just cutting his hair and shaving his neck (with electric clippers) when it's getting too long. His beard sometimes gets bushy, but I don't mind.

If we're going somewhere nice, I help him pick out clothes. I have to bug him relentlessly to shave/trim, my hubby is a beard growing machine!

I've been trying to convince him to let me give him a mask for years now to clear his pores but he won't let me!

I just bug him about shaving. He lets it grow longer than I would like!

He's pretty on top of hygiene. He's the type of guy that showers twice a day and has cologne at home, a small one in his work bag, and another in the car console (even though he doesn't drive anymore). Gets haircuts. The works.

Pretty much the only thing we disagree about is that if like to wax the space between his eyebrows because he has some some errant hair there but he won't let me 95% of the time.

He probably dresses better than I do.

I get him to put lotion on his dry elbows and he thinks that's "abuse". There's no way I can get him to wear certain shirts, so I've let that go a long time ago. He's not at all GQ and I'm completely fine with it.

I try to make subtle hints to take care of himself, but he doesn't really care. Or he cares, but doesn't make the effort to do it aka make excuses. He'll go unshaven for as along as he can or until we're going out to meet up friends/go somewhere nice. He doesn't really watch what he eats so his weight is no bueno, etc. If I'm too straight forward with him, he gets sensitive and hurt so it's a catch 22. sigh.

Nope, he's fine the way he is. If he thinks something is wrong, he works on it. He uses pimple cream which is uber sexy.
