I am saving up for a few basic items I need for fall.
I want to get some dark skinny jeans that are more of a midrise. My skinny jeans from pre-baby sit way too low and are uncomfortable now!
I also will need winter boots. MN has snowy and cold winters and since I have a toddler I know I will be outside more. I want to get some nice sorrels.
I will probably get a few cardigans too since they're versatile between home life and work.
What do you need/want for fall?

Yes, I need postpartum clothes. I'm thinking cardigans and yoga pants with nursing tanks & bras will be my standard attire until I lose some baby weight.

I don't think I need a whole lot since it doesn't get too cold down here but I think I do need a new pair of black work pumps. I've been wearing my favorite jcrew (discontinued) pump for 5 years and it's time for some new ones!

I always buy new, cheap leggings every year. I always pick up a few fun cardigans and sweaters too, though I don't "need" those."

I've spent the last two (!!!) winters pregnant so I will definitely need some new winter clothes. I need pants that fit, some cardigans, long sleeves, and what not. I still have to go through all my pre-babies clothes to see if anything will even fit anymore. Ugh.

@Smurfette: I need so much that I kind of feel overwhelmed by it . . . maybe I would feel differently if all of my work clothes fit. I am trying to acquire a few new pieces here and there (so DH doesn't have a heart attack!) and so I feel like I have options. But I really do need a new pair of boots (or two!), a few new cardis, and several pairs of opaque tights!
ETA: Oh, and a new winter coat!

@Andrea: I just bought VS leggings and LOVE how they fit! They are a very reasonable price too. Especially considering I nearly spent $50 on a pair that was so slimming and fit so well.
@mrsbookworm: I feel the same way. I'm the same weight I was before baby but hate low rise pants now so most of my pants don't fit right. and my prebaby tops don't hit a post-baby pooch. So I have to find new tops that aren't as fitting. It's sad.

@MsLipGloss: everything in my closet is looking dull and worn. Last winter I was pregnant so I didn't buy anything. But I need to start to space out the expense. I need all new bottoms since nothing fits PP even though I lost the weight.

Pretty much everything, lol. Some flowy tips and eventually, maternity pants! Most of my clothes from last fall are either ratty or don't fit, so...

Shirts I can nurse in! I'm planning to buy new jeans but not until I lose the baby weight. I think I will probably get a new pair of nice yoga pants, too.

I don't need any certain items, which is good because I blew my wad on that Madewell sweatshirt dress Mrs. Cowgirl posted about recently. My husband made me take out a loan against myself to save odds & ends from now until Christmas to offset the cost!

Yes, I am always many seasons and trends behind. Although this fall it will be all the maternity clothes again so I should be ok until next year.

I definitely need a new pair of jeans. I've been waiting for a sale. I haven't even thought about tops yet. M was born Sept 29 so last fall was all pregnancy or immediate postpartum. I better look through the wardrobe!

Yes! some pants and tops- all I bought the last couple years were maternity clothes and now lots of stuff from before my first LO just has.to.go.

Haven't really tried on my dress/work pants since being pregnant! Just hoping that since everything else from pre-preg fits they will, too. Aside from maybe needing those, just some nursing tops and tops that hide my post-partum poochy belly!

My wardrobe is so pathetic. I wear the same jeans everyday to work and the same shirts every week. It's sad. I used to wear a lot of form fitting clothing, but now that I have a post baby pooch, I need clothes that hide my stomach! And I really have no sense of style so usually I go shopping and don't end up with anything. Plus, the stores in my town suck! So basically I need a lot!

@mrskc: My tummy is fine, but my badonkadonk is more bootylicious than it was pre-pg. I am hoping it settles down a bit when I lose the rest of the weight because right now it's like *HELLOOOOO*!

I don't technically need anything but I'll probably end up buying a few things. This is my last winter in sunny San Diego before we move to Boston, so I plan to enjoy it. I'm sure I'll be doing a complete fall/winter wardrobe overhaul next year though!

i'll still be freshly post partum this fall, so i don't know what to do! definitely am looking for a pair of midrise skinny jeans too in a bigger size though (i DEFINITELY am not going to be fitting into my pre-baby clothes any time soon!). i had my eye on the new higher rise skinny jeans from american eagle! they are on sale right now for 30$ (in canada, anyway). i got a pair of the low rise for post partum last year and they worked okay except for the rise part, so i'm pretty confident these might work!
i also want dresses i can nurse in and wear with leggings/boots. new leather calf high boots would be amaaazzing but i'm not gonna hold my breath and a new long flowy cardigan or two please!

Nope. I'm working really hard to slim down my closet and pass by 'great deals' that I don't actually need... right now I'm trying to wear everything in my closet, within reason, and if I take it back off and hang it up it's going to Ebay/Consignment!
I am hoping to start sewing some tops for myself though! I already have the fabric and patterns though
