DH and I used to when we were younger, but through the years and moving, neither of us have a bike anymore! I always see people in my neighborhood riding their bikes, and I miss it! I think we are going to start looking for bikes! Plus it's a good way to get out and be active!

Yep! I used to ride it all the time. Little nervous about hopping on the saddle during pregnancy, but I like riding my bike. DH found it on Craigslist for $25. It does the trick.

@highwire: Nice! See I'm all for buying a bike on Craigslist, but DH doesnt want that, he only wants to buy them new. Maybe I will tell him I'll find one for me on Craigslist, and then I get the remainder of the money left over that I saved from buying it used!

I have one. I've had it since I was 14. I ride the greenbelt trails a lot. My husband has a road bike and a mountain bike. I won't let him ride much until we get a bfp. Prolonged biking can effect sperm count, and since he had surgery to increase his I don't want to take any risks.

DH does, but he rarely rides it. Maybe when LO gets bigger and can ride a bike we'll get me one too so we can all ride together.
Currently I ride a bike once a year. We rent them at the camp ground and go for a pajama bike ride in the morning.

We each have a Specialized road bike and hubs has a tricross as well. We used to go for a long ride a couple of nights a week in addition to getting around town. Now that I'm pregnant, it's less frequent. I feel like my center of gravity is wonky!

I ride to work when the weather is nice. DH and I ride together on the weekends. My bike is cute, red, and super old but I'm not worried that it'll get stolen if I park it on the street.

Yep, we each have our own beach cruiser and we also have a tandem beach cruiser we ride together.
during the summer we go on a "beach cruise" at least a couple times a week. That has changed since having a baby though.

I have an adorable seafoam green cruiser that DH bought for my birthday last year... I've only ridden less than 5x 
DH has 2 bikes and he rides to work whenever the weather is nice!

yep! i got one for my birthday last year and i love it! the only thing is we live in a condo and even though we have a garage, it is a pain to get it in and out! we usually go on family bike rides...my hubs has a dog leash tether on his bike and i have lil' cb's bike seat on my bike. it is FREAKING hard pulling an extra 35 pounds (30 lb toddler + 5 or so lb seat), though!!

Nope. Mine was stolen a while back when I lived with my mom and I never bothered to get a new one. We've been looking around to get DH one.

Yup, I have a hybrid. DH's got stolen recently so he uses mine more as of late. He uses it to run errands around the nabe... We have a child bike seat too so DD1 goes for rides too!

We own too many bikes; For the last 7 years or so we've biked to work. We also road bike for exercise sometimes.

Awesome that so many people have bikes! How much did you pay for them? I feel really cheap but I don't want to pay anymore than $100 for one. I would be happy to buy one used. Is this practical?

@MrsBrewer: If you just want a basic bike that's used then $100 is def doable - if you want something you can really ride well over rugged terrain or go out for hard road rides, then it's not doable.
Even if you get it used I'd still test ride it first - if it doesn't feel good for your frame and fit you well then it's going to be a waste of money even if it's a 'good deal'.

@Maysprout: yea I would just want one to ride around my neighborhood. Nothing crazy. I think it might be hard for me to find one though I'm pretty short (5'2)

I own one but haven't been on it since last year I was on a bar crawl and got a flat tire during it! I was so over it then!
DH loves his bike. I'll be making dinner and he'll be like, "I'm going out for a bike ride!" We live in an area with a lot of hills and canyons...I am always afraid he is going to hurt himself--he is a big kid!

Hubby and I own bikes, but I haven't ridden mine in quite awhile. I'm not a huge bike fan. Hubby on the other hand loves riding and owns a mountain bike.

we both do. DH is really into biking and triathlons so he bought me a bike so i could go on rides with him. mine is a cross between a road bike and a cruiser...DH has a really nice road bike. i haven't used mine all summer since LO is here. I'm thinking of asking the hubs to set it up on the trainer in the living room so i can ride while DS is sleeping

We both do, got them last year. DH is part of a biking group that goes for 30+ miles every week. I rarely ride mine, especially with being pregnant this year (although my OB ok'd it). I am actually looking forward to riding some next summer when DD will be 3 and LO#2 should be big enough to ride in the trailer.
