I own two pairs of boots and am eyeballing a pair of sandals. Most comfortable shoes I own, seriously

LOVE!!! The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! The leather is just so soft. My feet are never too hot or too cold. My feet never hurt when I wear them all day and walk all over the zoo. My feet get tired when I wear my Toms or even Uggs but not my Frye boots. I am a fan for life!

Frye boots always seem so heavy in the store. They really are that much more comfortable than a brand like Franco Sarto?

@Foodnerd81: There's no comparison. You really do get what you pay for! They are so so so comfy.

@Foodnerd81: all other boots may feel comfortable for awhile but by the end of the day I can't wait to get them off and my feet feel tired/achy and some brands I just feel like my feet are constricted and can't breathe. Like @Weagle said, there is no comparison...I walked all over NYC all day and my feet didn't hurt at all.

I have a pair of huarache sandals I have been wearing every summer for 5 years and they are still in great shape and super comfy

I have two pairs of boots and LOVE THEM. They are incredibly comfortable. Since we had a dry winter, I wore my boots every day to the point where, when I finally broke out the ballet flats last week, a little girl from my son's school noticed and asked if I had new shoes. If you love them, Fryes are a great investment because you won't want to buy any other shoes!

@Weagle: @sandy: Exactly-- they feel comfortable for a while, but after walking for a while, my feet just get tired. It's not like they are rubbing or anything obvious, just tired and achey.
I may have to treat myself-- I have a Nordstrom GC that will cover part of it, and DH never got me a bday present...

I got my first pair of Frye boots from DH for my birthday last month (after a kind HBer posted a sale)! I love them! You can really feel the quality. @Foodnerd81: Maybe it's my Texas showing, but I think they're more comparable to nice cowboy boots than to something like Franco Sarto boots.

@chopsuey: I wear 4.5 so I can't buy any of the adult styles bc Frye shoes start at 5.5 but I can buy the kids shoes. I have the Veronica boot for girls. It's a mid-calf boot on me. I wish I could get a pair of sandals but haven't seen them in the kids section yet
