I have several pieces but got my very first piece when I was 21 years old. I love Tiffany and think every piece I have is special. But what irks me a little is seeing 10, 11, 12-year old girls wearing this stuff. A coworker of mine bought her daughter an expensive necklace for her 11th birthday and I was like, "whaat??"
Do you own anything T&Co? How old were you when you got your first piece?

DH got me a sterling silver necklace for my 21st bday. I don't really like it anymore and don't wear it, doh! And my wedding band is Tiffany so I still like that!

I think I was 20-21 when I got my first piece. I got one of those heart toggle bracelets after Legally Blond came out. HAHA 
And got a few of the sterling silver necklaces. I ended up selling and giving everything away though.
DH bought me a diamonds by the yard necklace a couple years ago and I wear that all the time. It's the only TIffany piece I own now!

@Rubies: Yes I have several pieces & I love it. I got my first piece in high school, so fairly young? It was just a necklace from the silver collection, so under $200 & it was a special gift from my parents! 11 seems young, but was it a special event? I couldn't imagine spending that before, but now that I have DD I can for a special day or even maybe if she really wanted one.

my hubby got me some earrings that i ear occasionally. i got a necklace from my cuz for being a bridesmaid in 2003. i bought my first tiffany is a sterling silver keychain that i still have and use. i believe i got it when i was in college.

Yes, I have quite a bit. But now that priorities have changed I feel silly spending so much money for sterling silvery jewelry. The site Eve's Addiction has similar designs for prices more in line with the actual cost of sterling, so sometimes I'll buy something there.

I have a pair of earrings, a necklace, a pearl bracelet, and a Love Knot ring (all given to me by the hubs while we were dating). I also have a bracelet we got on our honeymoon. I think I was around 20ish when he gave me my first thing from T&co.? Not sure.

DH has gotten me a few pieces -- a sterling silver heart necklace w/ a tiny diamond, a set of small diamond earrings, and my engagement ring. Most recently, on my first mothers day, he bought me a Tiffany Elsa Peretti necklace with an "a" charm for our daughter's first name.

DH (then bf) got me a pearl necklace from Tiffany for our first Christmas (I was 27). Since then every piece of jewelry he got for me is from there - two silver necklaces, engagement ring, and wedding band. I also bought myself a sterling silver ring a few years ago.
I probably wouldn't buy anything for a daughter until she was at least in high school, maybe older, and only for a special occasion or accomplishment.

I received my first piece of Tiffany jewelry (bracelet) when I did an episode of the Millionaire Matchmaker a few years ago. One of the guys bought all of the women Tiffany jewelry.
For my birthday last year, my husband got me a Tiffany necklace and bracelet. My wedding band is also a Tiffany band. I love Tiffany jewelry I guess you could say

I actually do not own any of Tiffany's silver jewelry but received my first "little blue box" from DH at our first Christmas together. He got me a beautiful pearl bracelet. For my birthday he got me one of my favorite pairs of earrings, dangle pearl earrings with about 6 small pearls that hang down. The next Christmas he also purchased me a beautiful necklace with a simple platinum chain, pearl, and single diamond. They all go nicely together and actually wore the bracelet and necklace as part of my wedding ensemble. I wear them all the time and love them.

My parents bought me my first Tiffany bracelet when I was 12. I have been getting a piece of jewelry every year since from vacations they go on and stuff. I absolutely love every piece. And then my DH got me my dream Tiffany engagement ring. Call me crazy, but I love anything Tiffany.

I got my first Tiffany's necklace when I graduated from the 8th grade so I guess I was 13. As long as the kid is responsible enough to take good care of their jewelry I don't see a problem with giving Tiffany's jewelry to someone young.

Yep! All silver but a necklace and bracelet that DH bought for me as a wedding present. The necklace has a little pink sapphire. Love it! Also have the ball stud earrings.

Nope, none. I just can't spend that kind of money on jewelry (other than my wedding set). I really loved the key pendants when they came out, but wouldn't even consider actually spending money on one or asking someone else to.

I have very little, a mesh bracelet and ring and the braided knot earrings. To me, the sterling is starter jewelery and the good stuff they keep in the cases and private salons is uber expensive.

When we were dating DH bought me a pair of silver ball earrings for Christmas on the advice of his brother/SIL. While I cherish them, I only wear them on very special occasions (I think I've worn them 3 times since he got them for me 5 years ago). I very much prefer yellow gold and typically wear the same basic hoop earrings and cross charm necklace everyday.

No, I don't. I can only wear platinum so it wouldn't be worth spending the extra money. All the jewelry I wear now my husband had custom made.

Yep... DH got me an exp pearl necklace and dangling pearl earring set. I wear the earrings weekly, but the necklace I only wear for special occasions, etc. It's a classic piece. Love them both.
I had a few silver pieces from ex-boyfriends... I think I threw them out... Wish I had sold them back to a consignment shop!

I have a bracelet my sisters bought me for my wedding day, and an initial necklace that DH gave me on our wedding day (has my maiden name initial since he knew how conflicted I was about changing my name!) I love both pieces and the sentiments behind them.

My first Tiffany jewelry was my engagement ring! Now I have my wedding band as well and for our 5th dating anniversary, he gave me a necklace from there. I'm not a big jewelry person, but I love the pieces I have from there.

Papa Jumper bought me a Tiffany necklace for Christmas, when we were still engaged. He took me to NYC for my 25th birthday, where I bought a toggle bracelet for myself.
