I do only b/c it's hard to chew the skin when they were little. It's good and bad b/c now my oldest won't eat apples or pears with the skin on. Or anything with skin. But he's an odd one sometimes.

No, but I don't mind if they leave it behind, often they will eat apple slices like an orange.
