My son is in summer camp now, and pickup for him is from 3:30 - 4:00. If I go closer to 4 pm, he's often the only one there! So I'm heading out now to pick him up a little earlier...
Do you pick up your LO as early as possible from daycare?

Yes.
I am going to TRY and go to the gym before getting her this school year. I got a job 20 mins closer to my house and I get off at 2:30 so I think I need to try and take that time for myself. Easier said then done though!

Nope, but I have 3 hours between finishing work and daycare closing. I exercise, cook, run errands, nap...

It depends .. There was a time when my DD would cry if I picked her up too early. I guess I am glad she at least likes school ?? That's when I decided I'm no longer going to bust my behind to get there early if she doesn't even appreciate it!

I stop by home to drop the car off and walk over to daycare. If I drove directly I would save 5 minutes. It's still about 25 minutes before daycare closes. DH waits until the very last minute to pick her up every time. It kind of drives me nuts since she's the first one there in the morning.

No...If I get there too early, she misses out on afternoon playground time and she gets so upset! LOL! But I try to get there before most of the kids are gone because she gets sad when she sees lots of parents come.

Yes and no. On normal days, I run over as soon as I can after work. That's usually around 5:30-5:45. But we're in summer hours which means I get out at 1 on Fridays. DS will be napping until 3ish and then they have snack. So the earliest I get him on those days is usually 3:30 or 4.

Depends. LO is going to her sitter's house next week while I teach at a camp from 8-11:30. On a couple of days, I'll keep her there until after nap time so I can clean the house.

Yes and no. When I'm working, I try to pick him up at early as I can, but he's still often one of the last ones left. There's three of us that seem to always get there around the same time and our kids are always the last ones left.
But on my off-Fridays, I could technically keep Xander home with me or pick him up super early, but I still wait until 4:30 to pick him up, haha.

Yep!!! I get her as soon as I walk out the door at the office. Daycare is 2 minutes away and I miss her terribly!

My son's school closes at 4 but I'm always there at 3:30. I could probably go earlier some days, but he might still be sleeping or having his snack. I feel if I go right at 4 he's the last one there!
