I have a bad habit of doing that in between trims. When I was in high school I was picking at them in class one day and another student said I looked like I belonged in a padded room!

No joking I did the same thing in HS when I was bored in class.

This is awful, but I honestly don't know how to. I have tried, and I just sit there and stare and can't figure out which ones are the "split" ends! So I just give up and get a trim.

i used to pick my split ends in middle school and high school all the time!

I used to use scissors and cut off each split end in high school! It was gross, I could still never get rid of all of them...

Not really. I notice them, and I'll pick like one or two, but that's it.

I've never had this habit, but when I was bored in class I sometimes would sit there staring at them and analyzing the ends....
