I'm in the lottery group at work! $2 a week. We haven't won big yet... but we usually win a few bucks, which gets put into more lotto. Fingers crossed for the millions!!

We have an office pool...but usually only when the pool is really big. We didn't win Powerball but we still have a chance for MegaMillions.
I just started buying scratch offs, but only because I was gifted some for Christmas and I've been using any winnings to buy another card (that winning streak ended today).

Only when the prize gets crazy high. Which is really the worst time to play since so many more people are playing. It doesn't hold a lot of interest for me but I also don't have any problem with it. The lottery typically funds school programs and no one is forcing any one to play so if you go broke playing the lottery that's your fault not the lottery's fault.

Only if I've been having terrible luck. I feel like, terrible luck can't last forever, the streak has to end, so why not end it with winning the lottery?! This hasn't panned out for me yet, but a only do it maybe 5 times a year
