Um, I'm obsessed with The Sims 3. I like creating people and building their houses (and lately resorts) and then I get bored and start over again making a new family.

Yep! My dad and I played them together growing up, and DH and I bond over them lol. We're both gamer nerds

I guess if you count, the little Facebook games, yes, but I don't play anything on a gaming console or anything.

if you count words with friends and occasionally candy crush, then yea, but neither of us plays traditional games, like on a console, very often, and when we do it's like wii fit or rockband

@Bookish: haha, yes! Half the time I yelled at him, "just bubble already! Bubble!!" That way, I could get past the tricky part and he would just float along

We got rid of our Wii because we never played it, DH has a Playstation that he plays. I'll play a game on my phone every once in awhile...but that's about it. I do love Mario though...old schools style!

I guess if those games on your phone count, then yes.

Yep! My DH and I are both really in to video games. We have a Wii, a Playstation 3 and a suped-up gaming PC. Sometimes I just watch him play games and othertimes we play together! We have a bunch of HUGE Minecraft worlds we built together on LAN.

There are some game genres that don't interest me, like uninspired FPS and most Strategy titles (which are genres my DH likes). I like creative, exploration and adventure games like Gone Home, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, ect (some of which DH likes but are not his favourite). I also like arcade games like Bejewelled and Candy Crush (which DH can't stand). We both enjoy classics like Mario and Zelda.

I would definitely also say that Angry Birds, Candy Crush and games like that count as video games!

ETA: Ah I forgot to mention this somehow! DH and I actually met through playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and ITG (In the Groove, basically another "Dancing" game)! We used to hang out in the local arcade all the time playing it for hours and hours. We also went to tournaments (yes, for real). I won second place once!

@MsLipGloss: Haha! My friends and I used to de-stress in college w/ beer + Grand Theft Auto. DH and I were really into Guitar Hero (and Rock Band) when we met...I really need to drag that out again and let G bang on the drums

I grew up playing them with my brother, and I'll play on the Kinect with friends every once in a while. But, I'm definitely not a gamer! My husband, on the other hand, is totally a gamer.

Yep, I've been into RPGs and video games my whole life!

I voted no but my younger brothers like to get out the Wii & have tennis tournaments when the family gets together for holidays, etc. I participate but I'm not very good at it!
