Just kidding, we never eat out alone... but if we did, we'd definitely put the phones away! Well maybe one would be out, in case the babysitter called about the kids or something.

It comes out for a food snap but then it goes away! Same for at home. No phones at the dinner table!

Sort of? I mean we never sit across the table from each other staring at our phones. But it's not like a RULE or anything. And a lot of times when we're chatting we want to look stuff up so then one of us will pull out our phones and look it up because it is relevant to what we're talking about.

I leave mine out for photos and in case sitter calls.

my husband used to look at his a lot (he had a crazy job) and it drove me nuts. i don't tend to look at my phone much anyway because i'm so technologically behind the curve.

Not always but it's nice when we do, then our focus is on each other.

We try really hard both at home and when eating out (even if kids are with us).

Yes, I'm a stickler for it. We can keep it out in case we need to be reached, but now surfing the web when we have a few moments alone.

No. We leave it out so we can see who's texting/calling us, but don't respond to them unless necessary/urgent.

I leave my phone out just in case the sitter calls.

I leave it out in case sitter needs something. Or to take a quick pic but that is all.

Phones are on silent & put away. Not sure if this might change when LO arrives.

Yes, meals = phone free, whether at home or out.

We usually have one out just in case whoever is with LO calls, but we don't use it otherwise.

No phones at the table. I guess if LO is with a sitter, I *might* leave it out just in case, but more likely I'd keep it in my pocket on vibrate.

Yes absolutely. phones are accessible in case the babysitter calls, but we never ever sit at dinner on our phones, whether we are out or eating at home (unless DH needs to check something for work).
