Yup, but only if I don't know the person that well. I don't regift to close friends because they have the same taste as me so if I don't like something, I'm sure they wouldn't either.

If it's something that I wouldn't be... embarrassed to give, and I know I'll nevereverever get caught, yeah, I probably would. Most of the time though, the things that I/we get that we don't want are just gawdawful and I wouldn't consider giving to aaaanyone.

Not usually, I'll end up just donating it because most likely if I don't like it then no one else will, or I'd feel bad giving a "crappy" gift. If its something good like I got 3 duplicates of "Goodnight Moon" I'd re-gift.

I regift on occasionally, usually at a Yankee swap type environment.

Normally no, but since LO was born we've gotten all kinds of random stuff I would never buy, so those I re-gift (but only to people I don't know very well). I wouldn't give them to a good friend.

I have a few baby outfits and blankets that I may gift to another preggo friend who is in a different group of friends. Also, there's a picture frame thing that we were given that doesn't fit our decor, but if somebody were doing a brighter color scheme, it would probably be perfect for them. Those are what I'm considering at the moment.

Yes. I only do it if I think the person getting the gift will like it though.

I totally do if it is a nice item or if I think the person would appreciate it. I usually mention its a regift especially if i also got something else in addition for the recipient.

guests almost always bring a bottle of wine over when they come over. so we have a ton of bottles, and there's no way we could ever get to all of them. sometimes i suggest "shopping" from our collection when we want to bring some wine to a friend, but the husband does not like the idea of it.
i don't think i've ever considered re-gifting anything else. i might ask if someone wants it, but i wouldn't re-wrap it and present it as a gift.

I do! I keep a bag full of stuff to regift, comes in handy when I need something at the last minute!

Yup! but only to people I'm not too close to. And if it's something I got duplicates of (like a nosefrida or a onesie set or something) then I'll just give it to a friend for no special reason whatsoever.

Sometimes the kids get duplicate presents or presents I'm not too interested in (read: loud, noisy toys), so I regift them to friends.

YES-----If I REALLY can't use the gift & it didn't come with any sort of gift receipt or way to return it then I def regift ( first I ask my mom or sister if they'd find a use for it).
