It depends on how detailed I'm being. If I'm in a hurry, I don't really rinse. If it's been sitting there, then I rinse and scrub before I put them in the dishwasher.

Yep. Every time! I don't even know why I use my dish washer since I'm really thorough with washing them by hand with really hot water.

Always! And I usually give dishes a quick once-over with a soapy sponge too... Probably unnecessary, but makes me feel better!

Yep because the dishwasher got clogged once and flooded. I wish it had a garbage disposal attached to it, ha

Almost always. If I'm going to start it right away sometimes I don't because it won't have a chance to get dried on & stinky.

I do, DH doesn't - neither of our previous places had dishwashers so I think mine is just a hangover habit

No but we fill one side of the sink with water. Then we soak them all day and load at night.
