I'd say I rock her half of the time, and then just lay her down the other half. Sometimes I just like to snuggle

Almost always...he gets rocked to sleep for all naps and usually for night wakings, unless he's super drowsy. I feel like it's going to be a hard habit to break!

At 5 months we still always rock or at least snuggle to sleep. Putting them in the crib drowsy but awake just never really worked for our kids. I'm not worried about it.

Not anymore. She's too old for that After I give her a sippy of milk, which she doesn't always even want, and brush her teeth, she gets all squirmy because she's so tired and ready to go in her crib.

At 8.5 months I don't usually. She's always been pretty good about bedtime and at 7.5 months she started preferring me to just lay her in her bed for naps pretty much out of the blue... it was a bittersweet moment.

Nope, never. He started fighting us when we would try to rock him to sleep for naps (and naps in general) at 6 weeks.

Almost always. After a bath, she gets a bottle in the rocker and falls asleep well before finishing the bottle. She has started to turn into my chest and really snuggle against me during that rocking, which is really nice.

Always. At almost 18 months, she still nurses then cuddles up on my shoulder to fall asleep. Trying to stop nursing though. Im determined to be done by her 18 month bday on the 22nd! After that though, Ill still rock her to sleep. I love those nighttime cuddles.

I am the same way, I rock her more for me than for her
