i think i will for LOs bday this year. Although my parents never did it for me when i was growing up.

I think it's silly and my husband and I always make fun of the people who write it from the LOs...though most of my friends do it that way! I always just write thank you notes from the whole family. I love the fill-in-the-blank thank you cards for when kids are just learning to write though.

I always write them from my LO. And I try to make them funny. I don't think I've ever really noticed how other people do it. I guess I only care if I get a thank you card.

I usually write them from the whole family. That's what I did for LO's birthday this year... Thank you for being there to celebrate with our family, LO loves the fabulous gift, etc.

Yep - always!
Now that my 5 yr old is writing I have him write Thank you and sign his name and I do the rest

yes, I always send thank yous for a gift (for me or LO), but agree it is cute to write it from LO until she is old enough to do it herself. I don't take it too seriously though, it's a cutesy/funny thing

Yep, I've received plenty from various LO's. For LO's first birthday, I did that. A week later, I got one from a friend of mine when we attended her daughter's 2nd birthday, LO's first kids party.

Yes! I write them now and will give M a crayon to scribble on the envelope or card after I write it out from her.
