I love my OB (he delivered both of my kids) but my friend didn't click with him and is in the process of switching to another Dr.

Had she not told me what a horror one of the women was (and how much better everyone else was) I might very well have quit the practice after seeing that one woman. Man, talk about lack of bedside manner...

Right now I share the same OBGYN as my friend; I referred her after having a good experience.
Where I used to work/live, I shared most of my doctor's w/ my co-workers, all my referral!

Yep, my OB/GYN is also the doctor for several of my girl friends. We joke that we keep her in business!

Almost all of my friends see the same MW practice.

DH's cousin and I share an OB. That OB is also friends with our nephew so I bump into her at events every once in a while. Kinda weird.

We have 2 really big OB group practices here (each office has like 10-15 doctors). Lots of my friends also go to the same office.

Yes, a few of us use the same pcp and I use the same allergist add a friend too. I feel like word of mouth is the best way to find someone anyway.

Yup! I love my dr, she's an OB and pediatrician so she treats both me & J. I was referred to her by a close friend. She shares a practice w/her husband who is a general practitioner.

I go to the same midwife practice as a friend if mine. Although I think if I had another baby I would maybe switch back to my old ob.

One friend did go to my OBGYN, but they didn't like the practice and thought they were rude. I have been going there since I was 16 (as well as being to tons of other medical places for various medical issues) and they are probably the best practice I go to. Another friend actually goes to the same OB as me.

A couple of my friends go to the same midwife practice as me. (Actually, they were first...so I go to the same one as them!) I like it--it's fun to talk about experiences and to have someone to ask informal questions.

When I lived in New York, I sent 4-5 of my friends to my obgyn. Everyone loved her. Here, I just sent an acquaintance to my new obgyn and she was very happy with him.

Yep, I have several friends who use the same OB. I think there are at least 6 babies I know that she has delivered in my circle of family/friends
