Yes. I don't have alot of outlet IRL for sharing so I use HB as an outlet..... I've been meaning to start blogging for awhile where I figure things would be even more public so sharing here doesn't bother me too much.

Yes and no. Most things but then there are times were I am quiet, just to be on the safe side.
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
Some things I keep to myself but I share quite a bit. I'm really vague about everything though.

Yes, but nothing I would be horrified about the world finding out. Mind you, I try not to give too many honts about my identity.
bananas / 9227 posts
I do. I was hesitant at first, because I know it's a small world and I have RL friends that also waited a while to start a family, so I wouldn't be surprised if I actually know a couple of you outside of HB.
I live abroad, away from all my friends and family and it makes having an outlet all the more impossible to find. I share more here than anywhere else and I'm fine with that. Everyone's entitled to an outlet; HB is mine

Some! Actually, a fair bit, but I try to keep certain details off-line. I don't think I'd be terribly horrified to be "found" on here, but my guess is that some of my more acquaintance-y friends would be quite surprised by how much they didn't know about me!
@SugarplumsMom: I agree, HB is my outlet! I'm far away from family and friends, and this makes me feel way less alone.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
I'm VERY open here, haha. There's only a few things I don't talk about on HB!

Yes and no. Somethings like names and other specific identifying information like city I live in, I like to keep private.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
There are some things I won't talk about, like my relationship.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
I pick and choose. I don't share anything that I wouldn't really want someone I know IRL to find out.
honeydew / 7091 posts
I'm probably a bit too open. I don't really hesitate to share anything.
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
My life's pretty boring and drama free so I don't have much to share..

I'm pretty open on Hellobee and online in general with my blog. My social interaction is limited as a SAHM, and I enjoy the community here. I don't mind sharing a little more about myself.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
There are a few things that I keep private but I'm generally pretty open here.

I'm not very interesting so I doubt anyone is hanging on the kine waiting to hear what I have to say next. That being said, I am less forthcoming after the GOMI stuff happened. I don't have Mich yo say but don't really want to be made fun of either most of the time I'm on IG though, that's how I keep up!
bananas / 9973 posts
Probably too much. Sometimes I wish I could go back and delete things. oops!
nectarine / 2932 posts
I think I'm pretty open, but I do limit the identifying things I share...haven't posted my name (I don't think), or pictures. If I do post a picture, I only do it in Gold topics.
I was really open on Weddingbee, and I enjoyed it..but didn't want people I knew knowing I was TTC so I switched my username when I joined HB.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
I share as much as I can without giving identifying details like where I live and intimate stuff about my life.
coconut / 8861 posts
I'd say yes and no. Everyone here knows about my awful MIL. I share a fair amount, but not so much. I also switched my username to something similar to my alias WB name from pregnancy. Nobody really knows it outside of Hellobee, so it gives me some breathing room to talk freely here.

@mrsjyw: I don't really share much. I'm a private person.
Hahaha.
coconut / 8305 posts
@babyjmama: I initially felt like not sharing as much when all that happened too.... Now I figure if they're gonna talk might as well give them something to talk about. haha!
Really though I've utilized gold threads alot more to feel a tad more secure in that area.

I'm pretty private so I don't share that much. Well, I share little things here and there but nothing toooooo personal.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
I have a good balance I think. Nothing too personal but I do share a decent amount. I am in general a very open person though.
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
I share too much, but if I had to defend what I wrote to someone I would be ok with what I have written about.

I'm like a few others in that I probably pick and choose. There's also things on here that I feel I can't contribute to, like conversations about Halloween (not a big holiday here), thanksgiving (again, not a holiday here) and the costs of healthcare - thanks to a robust public health system, I haven't paid for a single thing this pregnancy and my child will have free doctor visits til they start school.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
No I try to share almost nothing. The internet is too permanent for me to feel safe doing otherwise.
pineapple / 12234 posts
I pick and choose what to share, I try to keep sort of private things gold. Then there are parts of my life that are so private, I just don't talk about here at all.
nectarine / 2973 posts
I try to not say too much that would allow someone to identify me too easily. Eventually I'll probably go gold and share more.
