Nope, I usually put a pillow under it.

I put a pillow on my lap usually. Makes it a better height:)

I used the pillow trick for my laptop, right now I'm on my ipad w/ it's keyboard and I need a pillow to hold it at the right angle.

We have a cooling pad because of the heat so that it doesn't burn our thighs off.

Yes... but I don't let DH put it on his lap b/c it's bad for his man parts. He has a special laptop holder thing that keeps air circulating underneath it, so it doesn't get hot.

I stopped placing it on my lap once I'd gotten pregnant. I used to always have it in bed but now it's on a desk in my little computer nook next to our desktop (DH usually uses that one).

@mediagirl: I don't recall the exact one I have, but it was from Fry's and it was free after mail-in rebate. I didn't care to get a fancy one as it is hidden underneath my laptop. Plus, I love that it was free!

I have a plastic cooling/fan pad. I don't always plug it in, but it provides some extra height and keeps it from getting too hot on my legs. I nearly always have it on my lap.

I do all day long! I get made fun of at work for hardly using my desk.

Sometimes I do, but I use a pillow if it gets too hot!
