I always sneak into LO's nursery (8 mo) at least once, usually more, before I go to sleep myself. I love sneaking kisses from me sweet, sleepy baby!

NO WAY! But mine is such a light sleeper that I honestly don't even go own his hallway after he goes to bed.

I always sneak in a kiss when I go in to replace his binky or soothe him if he's been fussing. If I kissed him when he was asleep he might wake up, so I avoid that!

Almost never. He's a really light sleeper.
If I feel the need (usually after watching or reading something sad about children) I'll risk it, but I usually just go in, look at him and maybe stroke his back once or twice.
D often goes in when he gets home from work, though. But he doesn't see E very much during the week, and almost always gets home after E's gone to sleep. It doesn't bother me....he sometimes picks him up and holds him and E wakes up, but he gets very sleepy-excited and snuggly with his da and will go back so sleep easily.

Nooo I'm WAY too scared of waking her up! I look at her in her crib though, and whisper that I love her, God bless and sweet dreams. Sometimes I put a hand on her back to check her breathing too but a kiss would for sure wake her!

I'm too afraid he'll wake up!!! But I give him kisses if he's fallen asleep in my arms during feeding -- it kiiiiiind of wakes him a little bit so I feel like it's not technically nursing/feeding to sleep lol

I have! And thankfully he sleeps right through!
It's on a rare occasion if I haven't seen him a lot during the day cuz of work!

I did! Had to stop when we lowered the crib cause we can't reach her

Goodness no! Wouldn't want to risk waking her up just as we are about to go to bed!

I couldn't reach him to kiss him but I do go in and check on him every night. I have to touch him before I go to bed. I think the paranoid part of me just needs to make sure he's breathing.

oh my god no. i have one of those "sensitive" sleepers that would probably wake up, and then i would have to kick myself really, really hard for a few hours (or however long it takes LO to fall back asleep). it sounds so sweet, though, wish we could do it!

I don't dare! If they wake up there goes a dreamy sleep for everyone. And there will be LOTS and LOTS of tears...

@CupQuakeWalk: Same! Although, she is getting better as she gets older and I was able to sneak one last night.

Everynight before I go to bed I go and check on her, cover her up/touch her sweet cheeks that are rosey with sleep. One of my favorite times of the day

Almost every night and DH does too when he gets home from work since he rarely sees him. Luckily, the first part of the night he is a super heavy sleeper, but I wouldn't dare go in his room after 4 or 5 am...he is a light sleeper early in the morning.

no, only because i cant bend down and reach her to kiss her as her mattress is lowered all the way. sometimes i do go in though and just peek on her/rub her back
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
Not that she's so low I can't bend down far enough to kiss her in the crib. But I go check on her and pat her bum and tell her I love her.

No, I checked on LO last night for the first time ever because she was having an allergic reaction and it wasn't resolved when I put her down. She woke up and freaked out. DH gave me the biggest "I told you so" look when I finally got her back down.

DH and I are in there at least once each per night!! Usually once each, and then together before we go to bed!
I just got these off Etsy and it has made our sneaking so much quieter, our door handles are clicky!
