I drop and dash. I drop off at 7 and have a 30 minute commute. I have to be there at 7:30!

It depends. I do a little bit of both. If I feel like he is being extra clingy when we get there I drop and dash, it seems to be better that way. If he isn't then I chat with the teachers for a few minutes, get a couple extra hugs and watch him play with some of the other LO's.

I wish I could be quick but pickups take a long time right now with 2 LOs. My toddler doesn't want to leave so I usually chat with the teachers for a few minutes.

I spend a few minutes with her teachers if I can . . . every little bit of information helps (and I also like to observe the other LOs to get an idea of what they are like too).

Hubs does drop off and he lingers. I do pick up and I usually hang out for a while too.

I stay for about 5 minutes and chat, since it is her second week there.

I stay for 5 or so minutes to chat. When I pick up it can be more like 10 minutes depending on how busy the room is. I really enjoy his main teacher and only see her at pick up, so it's nice to stay and talk to her.

No time to chat and the teachers dont start conversations in the mornings. Just the evenings. I like that they wait until the end of the day

I probably spend 5-10 minutes hanging out and cuddling with DD for drop off and pick up. It's an in-home, and the lady is a really good friend of mine, so it's just like seeing a friend every day. Plus she's due to have her 3rd baby tomorrow, so we always have lots of fun things to talk about!

I drop and run - my DS has always been a clinger and I spoke with his teacher and she agreed drop and run was the best solution!

It depends on the day, but most of the time I chat at least a little bit.

DH does drop offs, and I'm pretty sure he dashes off! Daycare doesn't open until 7:30 and he has a 30 min commute!

Drop and run. Well, I'll hang out for a few minutes to chat with the teachers. We have a notebook that we fill out every morning with information about our child, like what they had for dinner, how their sleep was, what their morning was like. I'll fill out the notebook and chat with the teachers a bit and then I"m outta there. The longer I linger, the more my son wants me to stay.

Hubs drops and dashes! He doesn't even take Xander out of the carseat - just drops him off and leaves! I usually linger when I do pick up so I can find out how the day went!

My son goes to a residential daycare, and I totally dilly dally, and chat it up with the ladies and play with the kids. Like 30 minutes worth of chatting and playing. It's a problem.

I sit down and play with dd for about 15 min before leaving to go to work unless she's asleep and I drop and dash.
