Our UPS guy just pulled into the neighborhood. I'm watching him to make sure he doesn't stop in front of our house.
If I see him coming towards us, I usually run out and open the door before he can ring the doorbell!
He's always wearing headphones so I've scared him a few times.

My dog does that for me. I always know when someone's coming to the door. Unfortunately because of barking.

@artbee: Mm.. yeah. Hopefully your LO is used to the noise and doesn't wake when he barks..? Our neighbor's dog annoys the crap out of me when he barks when the baby's sleeping! Our neighbors do a good job keeping them quiet though..

haha yah he always used to come right at charlie's bedtime. but now charlie goes to bed later so it's not as big of a deal. we know our ups guy and he's a nice guy.
the fedex guy though... comes on saturday and rings the bell like 5 times during naptime!!!!

@chopsuey119: No way, she's a light sleeper. I hate when people come to the door during nap time! Our dog isn't a barker, only when someone is at the door.

@chopsuey119: not the UPS guy since the LO isn't home during the day but yes to delivery men if we order dinner after she is asleep then. i listen for their car pulling up or door slam and then i run to our front door. HAHAHA.

@Andrea: What kind of food do you have delivered?! The only places that deliver here are Chinese and Pizza.

@chopsuey119: we always get friday night sushi! there is not a lot of variety but all the japanese and chinese "fusion" places deliver at least so we can get something else besides pizza. everything else you have to go pick it up.

haha nope, don't stalk them. sometimes, i don't even know they came by, they just leave the stuff at the front door. =T
