Yes! We're all very close still and make it a point to meet up a couple times a year even though we're spread out a bit now. One of them is getting married this weekend, and I'm in the wedding.

Not with my freshman year potluck roommate, but my very best friends are the girls I lived with for the other 3 years.

@owlmom: Oh, man. My first (freshman) roommate turned out to be a total B. I ended up rooming with a suitemate and I still consider her my friend.

I graduated 2 years ago, so it hasn't been too long ago. My 2 college roommates were friends from home and ended up being 2 of my bridesmaids last summer. I'm still friends with one of them; the other, not so much. We stopped talking 3 months ago because she would tell me not to have children yet, but became ecstatic when another friend announced her pregnancy because "they're different situations." I'm much more happier now that I don't have to justify myself or listen to unwanted opinions.
