Have any of your baby products stopped working before the warranty was up?
The motors on two different Ameda Purely Yours breast pump stopped working, Ameda sent me replacements both times. I mailed the faulty motors back to them with a prepaid label.
Our Fisher Price Snug a Bunny swing stopped swinging 2 months later so they shipped me a replacement motor.
Do you take advantage of warranties for baby gear?

absolutely. I used my warranty on my UppaBaby Vista (the bumper bar was REALLY hard to snap in, so they sent me a new one) and on my AngelCare Moniotr (one of the parent handheld units screens went out ) They too replaced it immediately. Some of these things are so vital to everyday life with a baby (like the snug a bunny and esp your pump!) that, to me, I wanted to be sure I was covered if I needed it.

I totally would! Haven't had to yet (haven't had the shower yet, and I'm still pregnant, lol) but I plan to if needed.

I have recently for two things:
1. My medela Freestyle pump battery was acting very funny around 10 months into use. Medela sent me a full new pump
2. The seat belt strap on my Britax BReady stroller came undone and they sent me a whole new seat.

I just did today! LO is getting big enough for us to use the toddler seat on the B-Ready soon so I was playing around with adjusting the straps. That's when I realized that the harness adjuster wasn't locking in at the lowest setting (it has 3 height settings). I called Britax this morning and they are sending me a replacement seat.
@thehistoryofus - I saw on another thread that you ended up getting the 2012 version as a replacement seat, which has 4 recline angles vs 3 on the older model. I hope they send me the new one too!!!

so far I've only had 2 issues and both have been quick fixes. Oue baby einstein exersaucer didnt come with stabilizer feet, but one quick phone call and they were here. Just a few days ago I caled about our sleep sheep because the sound box was shutting off after a few seconds, and a new one is coming!

I actually just threw out some BRU warranty protections things because they expired. I did use the warranty on my Hygeia breast pump twice though. Otherwise we've been pretty lucky.
