My daycare provides food but she gets what I send unless the day has good snacks and lunch, then she gets school lunch.

J eats whatever the daycare provides, nothing has been THAT bad yet and I want him to branch out some since we rotate pretty similar meals.
Eta: plus I'm a lazy ass and don't have time to pack food for him!

I provide most of her food but her daycare nanny has snacks (puffs) and fruit that she provides.

OUr daycare doesn't provide food so I have to pack her lunch and snacks every day. I wish they did....it would take one stress off my shoulders!

We pack lunch. The preschool sends out a suggested menu though so that the kids are eating more or less the same thing, but each parent controls the ingredients. I like the system.

We do lunch and they do snack. it was a pain at first but now we are in the routine.

@mamimami: the only bummer I'd that I always thought they were puffed peas, but really they are ground peas with rice/corn. Oh well, they are still delicious. Too bad they are highly processed!

We pack LO's lunch.
@Mrs. Jacks: I spy yogurt balls!

@autumnlove: yup! They are a favorite around here. I only gave M one because she makes such a mess with them. Both girls ate their whole lunch today (except for a few stray goldfish). Pretty great!
I also had a request for "more nori please". These girls eat it like crackers.

I'm anal about the food she eats so we pack her lunch every day. In the last two months we've let up on snacks and let her eat their snacks. I don't foresee us stopping packing lunches unless she says something herself.

@Mrs. Jacks: I spy a few things I recognize and some I don't. What are the white balls, the dark things (fruit?) and is that green stuff under the rice seaweed?
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
@mediagirl: White balls are Rickland Orchards mango greek yogurt granola balls... So yummy! Find them at your local Costco.
Green stuff beneath the rice is nori, or seaweed if you prefer. The kids eat it by the fistfuls and were requesting more yesterday.
The dark things next to the goldfish are raisins. My little one will eat them but my big girl won't.
What isn't pictured is the strawberries that went into the long empty part of the big lunch box because we hadn't finished getting them ready. I consider yesterday a success with no leftovers.

We have to provide our meal(s), but they provide snacks.

We have to provide meals. I'm actually glad, because the food the other satiated provide seem awfully unhealthy. I'm sorta looking forward to putting together fun lunches!

He eats daycare food. It's not exactly as healthy as I would prefer but it's not too bad.

They provide meals and snacks prepped with locally sourced, organic food which is great because I have no time for lunch packing!
