Regular voice for the most part. Sometimes I explain obscure things to them they would never understand.... "Guys, you can't sleep on the bed because you cover the duvet in dog hair and I hate washing that thing."

I talk to him the same way I talk to a baby or small kid. Not baby talk so much, but loud and clear and a bit sing songy. He definitely knows when I'm talking to him as opposed to an adult in the room. Poor little guy is going to be confused when the baby is here
