Seriously every night DH and I talk and I tell him all the stories about DS that day and we always say, "He's so awesome." I cannot believe how great of a kid we have - but I am sure even if he wasn't SO GOOD I'd still think he's just awesome. I think everything he does is so cool, so funny, so magical and just makes me love him more. He's so awesome

Haha, yes. DH and I think our son is hysterical and ridiculously smart--but we are his parents after all. Ever since the day he was born, DH and I have been saying, "he's so amazing". At night we talk about both LO's equally (not consciously) but we love them both so much, it's hard not to talk about one or the other. We talk about how DD is advancing quickly and she makes us laugh all the time. Now that we have two, I feel like we try to soak in every moment of their cuteness. I couldn't imagine life without either of them!

Awesome as in, wow, we made a healthy, perfect little baby? Yes. Awesome as in I can't get enough and she's so much fun, etc? Nope. But that's more AGE related than whether she's a great baby, whether I love her related.

Now that she's "older" you can totally start to see her personality come through. I love that she has a sense of humour. Stubborn as heck - don't know where she got that from! We're thinking grandpa

Last night before bath I got lo undressed, threw her clothes toward the hamper, and she crawled over there with no prompting and put her dirty clothes in the hamper. For a 15 month old, I think that's awesome! So I said, "you are the best girl ever! " and dh said lets go to the bath tub and grabbed her hand. Of course she started walking in the opposite direction .....

At first it was more that it was amazing we made this little guy. Now that he is older and his personality is really showing through, we do talk about how awesome he is. Especially when I'm talking to my parents who live a few hours away. Conversations with them about DS put his tantrums in perspective when I'm talkin to them about how much he is learning and doing each day.

i think they're awesome to us because we know everything single little thing about them. we know them in a way we probably don't know anyone else in our lives - when they sleep, eat, what they can say, what they like/dislike...
so every little thing they do is awesome! (to us).

Yes!! We adore her and can't imagine our lives without her. Plus, she's SO MUCH like me (personality-wise)... how can she not be awesome? JK!!
