I am seriously getting dumber. My memory is shot, it takes me so much longer to write posts when I used to be able to pound out up to 13! a day (sure they weren't all great quality, but I could do that in my 20's). Maybe I partied too much in my youth, maybe I'm aging, maybe it's the kids.
Sometimes when I go back and read stuff I wrote a decade plus ago, I think it's much better than what I write now!

Dumber... I don't feel that I was that smart to begin with so I'm scared to see what happens in the next 10 years - HA!

I don't know that I'm getting dumber, but I'm definitely getting lazier, if that makes sense. I don't research things nearly as much as I used to, which I think makes me less well-informed.

I'm not sure! I mean I have a terrible memory, but I feel like you still learn new things/experiences everyday. So I think experience wise I'm getting smarter!
Plus I'm still in school so I feel like I'm still getting smarter.

Dumber. A combination of becoming a mom and moving to a much less challenging job (becaue my previous job would not have allowed for a solid work life balance that's necessary for having a family).

Dumber. I read papers I wrote in grad school and they are so good! I can't believe I wrote them. I think part of getting dumber is not being in school anymore...baby brain...etc.

I think I'm getting much smarter in intellectual and "big picture" ways. But I don't bounce back like I could when I was younger, and my information retention and memory are getting worse.
