Let's say you go to a restaurant and there is a magician / comedian there. He spends 1:1 time with your child and makes him/her a balloon creature or hat. Do you tip him? How much do you tip?

Yes, if he gave my child specific attention I would definitely tip. Probably $5

I hate these situations. I feel like we should tip, but we are tied to plastic cards and almost never have cash on hand. We just don't make a habit of having it.

Yes. Last time we were at a Mexican restaurant, there was free balloon people and since all the kids got balloons we all tipped.
