Any luck? I'm going to start small and try cilantro lime rice...I hope it tastes like the rice at Chipotle.

Yup! Mm... Chipotle rice! I've tried copying the mussels at Maggiano's, the baked potatoes from Outback, and some soups that I can think of.

I tried the cilantro lime rice from chipotle and bang bang shrimp from bonefish grill recipes from skinny taste. They weren't bad!

I've tried a few times, but they were either not like the original or so labor intensive I wondered why I didn't just go to the restaurant.

@sarbear: Me too. I love Skinny Taste. I made the cilantro lime rice and some pulled pork that rivaled Chipotle. I've attempted to make Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits numerous times and my last attempt was the closest. I've also attempted to make a Big Mac but I can't get the sauce right.

I've tried the cilantro lime rice from chipotle too! I've tried two different copycat recipes and neither has been exactly right, but still good!

I haven't but I have wanted to try to make Chicken Bryan like Carrabas, but I worry that since I don't have a wood grill the chicken won't taste as good. And, I want to make the jack sauce from Friday's.

I always try those copycat recipes, and while it's close, it's never quite exact. Even when the restaurants provide recipes, I think they must make small adjustments or leave stuff out so we have to keep coming back.

I tried the copycat recipe for Olive Garden pasta e fagioli soup. Came out great!

I bought the cookbook from my favorite restaurant, and the few dishes I've made taste very similar.

Only if it's a restaurant far from where we are located. We've made several attempts at pok pok fish sauce wings but while what we make are delicious they are just not the same.

A few, crab wontons from P.F. changs and a thai wrap from World Wraps. Both tasted the same!
