I don't have a snowsuit for J but I'm wondering if I need to invest in one?? Where can I find an affordable one? He won't be in it a ton so I don't need name brand or anything!

I was just at our local once upon a child and they had racks of snow suits, including some brand new with tags (like a whole bunch of the same pair from old navy...must have been an overstock). Is there a good consignment store near you?

Yes, she uses her snowsuit at daycare. I know up here a lot of daycare centres require snowsuits during the winter, even if it's not snowy just to keep the kiddos warm. We use it if we go out for a walk at night when it's cold.

We found pretty nice Puma ones in the mall yesterday, with attached foot covers and mittens for only $25, much better than the $69+ Columbia ones I'd seen on Amazon.
ETA: much better price, the Columbia ones might be higher quality, but this is just for a baby, we don't need the highest performance yet...!

Absolutely! DD was walking before her 1st bday and went skiing for the first time shortly afterwards, so for us a snowsuit was a must.
We do live in New England and spend a lot of time outdoors, so we do splurge for snow gear. The past 2 years we had new snowsuits from Columbia on sale (~$50 each), and this year we got a North Face bib and jacket for $40 from our local FB group.
