I know they say missionary, or on your side, pretty much anything where you are laying down and not sitting up, but I just wondered if you are going by that or just assuming that any position is good enough?

We didn't research it ahead of time. We used plain old missionary, and it worked twice.

We stuck to missionary so that it would be easier at the "end" for me to get my legs up in the air and not lose all of his "stuff" (yes, I totally put my legs up in the air for at least 20 minutes immediately after).

Same here, missionary and I tried to stay in bed with my legs elevated for at least 5 mins.

No we haven't used any certain positions because we are TTC. My husband has had to tell me to relax about the whole process a couple times now and I'm sure if I mentioned certain positions that we should use he would think I had gone completely over the edge.
