I hate the uploader so much!

I used to use to all the time but I'm not a fan of the new redesign. Or the uploader!!

I have debated switching over to Flickr for years. I use many Google products so thought that Picasa would be the way to go, but it's so frustrating! I never know where to upload things (through the website, on my desktop, etc.) and I wonder if Flickr would be any better.
It sounds like maybe not, @autumnlove!

@fussygal: I always get the error that ____# of pictures didn't get uploaded. Rinse and repeat!

I don't have any problems with their uploader actually. I've been using flickr for many years now and that is how my parents view lo's pics and vids so I don't want to make them learn something else. I do have a problem with their android app though. It's annoying that I have to upload everything from my laptop.

I drag and drop photos to upload and have never had a problem (fingers crossed). But I've never tried to upload from my phone, only from the computer... I love the huge amount of available data, and I don't want LO's pics splashed everywhere so I have them limited to friends and family.

No, I hate it! Whenever people send me pics from Flickr, I don't want to look at them.

I love Flickr, it's a back up of my photos going back to 2006. For large batches of pictures, I find third party uploaders work better than Flickr's own.

I think the redesign looks nice actually... maybe I'm in the minority! It shows off the photos really well, I think. I don't mind the uploader, but I never upload large batches, just a few images at a time.
