I was never a fan of Purell because I felt like there was something left on my hands. I will use hand wipes, but generally just try to wash my hands as often as possible instead.
Do you use Purell/hand sanitizer?

We use CleanWell or Purell. It's nice for use at parks and playspaces. Hand sanitizer use has been shown to be as effective as hand washing!

Yes I like BabyGanics. It leaves my hands feeling clean instead of grimy. Plus there is no harsh alcohol smell.

We have a bottle on the changing table and on the coffee table. I buy a big thing from Sam's Club so it's their generic brand. We have Purcell at work and I hate the waxy feeling it leaves on my hands. I like the gel better than foam. But at home we wash if we have time, but in a pinch use the hanitizer.

Not regularly. My hands get eczema and hand sanitizer makes it worse. I'll use it occasionally but I don't carry it around with me. I do usually have wipes in my car, not my purse though.

I have a small one in my purse that I use maybe once per week. It actually smells good though so I don't mind using it when I remember I have it.

I don't like the feeling of things on my hands either so I only use it when I can't wash my hands right away with soap/water.

No. I prefer washing my hands. I'm an elementary school teacher and I'd rather be washing my hands 10x a day than hand sanatizing that often. I only get sick about once a school year and with all the germs in my classroom I consider that a success!

Only after pumping gas. Its an easy thing to store in my glove box. Otherwise, I'm not a fan of it.

I don't like to because the alcohol dries me out and also, it makes me feel dirty. That's counter-intuitive, but I feel that if my hands are dirty, then they won't be clean until I wash them. Having said that, I have one in my purse for if i sneeze and can't get to a washroom (like in church), but that's more for other people's health than mine.

I prefer to wash my hands but I work at a hospital so I end up using it a few times a day... I don't find it leaves a film on my hands...

I keep a mini-bottle in the diaper bag just in case I'm feeling grodie on the run, but I prefer soap and water

It's funny, before kids I wouldn't touch the stuff. Then, just seven months in daycare and two kids later, I'm use the stuff all the time!!! I was so against it before, but my immune system is pretty strong, DS and DD's immune systems, not so much.
We also wash our hands a lot, but on the run from the park or something like that, we use it. I have wipes in my stroller and purell in my diaper bag and in the car.

Yes every time I do a diaper change. I don't like picking LO up with possible feces on my hand and can't just leave him on the changing table while I go wash my hands. So I use the sanitizer until I can get him and get to a sink. I don't believe in over using it though for cold prevention, etc.

Occasionally. I'm a school librarian and the germs that surround me daily are numerous. I don't have regular access to a sink anymore so I keep a bottle of Susan Brown's Baby moisturizing hand sanitizer in my desk.
