A friend gifted me some size 2 overnight diapers and I have been using them for about a week. LO is 3 months and *knocks wood* usually sleeps 5-6 hours then another 3, then another 2-3. On a few glorious occasions he has slept 7-9 hours. Anyways, wondering if they are really worth it as I near the end of the pack that was gifted to me. Do you use them? How long does your LO sleep?

Yes, they are a total must! DD sleeps for 12 hours and we still get leaks with overnight diapers sometimes because it is such a long time I guess.

I usually use cloth diapers but I used regular Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers during my last vacation and they worked fine. LO is almost 8 months old and she sleeps 10 hours.

For me it is a must otherwise I have leaks, i sometimes even get leaks but thats when i know I need to up the size of his overnights. FYI - he wears a size 5 diaper during the day but size 6 overnights and I prefer Huggies over pampers even though I use pampers during the day.

I started using overnight diapers when LO dropped to one wakeup/night. It was SO easy to just nurse her and then plop her back in the crib.

I had no idea there was such a thing! M goes from her evening bottle until about 7am every day without a change. Is that bad? Should she be in overnight dipes?

I don't change him when he wakes to nurse, so he is in one diaper for about 12 hours

I stuff a BumGenius 4.0 with the rehular liner plus 2 newborn liners. She can last 12-14 hours without leaking.

Idk, I've noticed that our overnight diapers leak when DS sleeps on his tummy. Maybe I just need to try a different brand...
We use Pampers Baby Dry and he sleeps 10-11 hours over a 12-13 hour period.

@mediagirl: nah if she doesn't leak no biggie! I just found that if he went a feeding without getting changed he would leak. His output is a little absurd and he absolutely drenchesthe overnight diaper overnight too. Lately I dont change him after the first stretch but change him around 5 am and he usually sleeps a few more hours. I don't know if the overnight diaper would leak if I didn't!

I use cloth diapers, but I use a bamboo fitted overnight (Tot bot bamboozles), he never seems to soak it! There is no way a regular pocket diaper would last all night.

We started doing disposables at night since our LO sleeps 11-12 hrs and was leaking even in her bum-genius double stuffed! She looks so funny in her little bum.
Is there a specific brand marketing overnight diapers?

I was totally OK without one but the last couple nights M has been peeing through her diapers! If we don't change around 3am she'll leak through. So I'm thinking of investing in a pack and seeing if it makes a difference.

We have to double diaper because my LO is a peeing machine! He wears an overnight diaper with a regular diaper on top.

I used Pampers Baby Dry, day or night. Haven't had any pee leak problems, poopsplosions are another story though . . .
But I also change her diaper whenever she eats at night. It doesn't bother her and she goes right back to sleep. -
@winniebee: we use the Pampers overnights too, and have been since Liv was like 2 months old maybe? Our pedi told us to. He said "Thats why they make them!" lol. So to us they are a MUST. I ran out once and she slept in her regular Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive and it burst open and the beads got all over her. Her output overnihgt is crazy too lol

We use Pampers Baby Dry, and have not had any leaking issues with them, so we like them. LO gets changed into the Baby Dry around 10pm (usually while asleep), and sleeps straight through to between 5-7am. She is 10 weeks old.

I've never used overnight diapers.. We put lo in her seventh gen and no leaks. She sleeps 12 hours a night too!

We use cloth (gDiapers) and he doesn't leak overnight anymore now that they are the proper fit. I usually do 1 waking without changing him. The second waking he doesn't want to go back to bed anyway.
Never used overnight diapers...
