@chopsuey119 @autumnlove: why do you guys hate her? I only have iphone4 so don't have Siri but feel like she would be helpful! Is she not?

@mrsaudi: I always get an I don't understand message or she looks up the wrong info! Some of my friends love her!

Almost never. The couple times I've used her is to send text messages while driving.

I don't, but DH does all the time! He doesn't understand when I just search for something manually. One night I was downstairs cleaning and he was watching a game in our bedroom upstairs & I heard him talking to someone, so I went up to see what he was doing. He was seriously rolling around on the bed talking to Siri like a middle school girl. It was totally hilarious, but also a tiny bit concerning! What is it with guys and Siri?

I occasionally use her to place an outgoing call, but that's pretty much it. I thought she would be really useful, but I find her to be rather pointless...

I love Siri. I dictate boards threads to her all the time while walking around Brooklyn. She gets me.
I think it doesn't do as well with high pitched voices... so basically, Siri is sexist.

@mrbee: lol
I see no point... if I want to send a text, I can just go to messages. If I want to find gas/store/etc I can us maps or the other apps. I feel like "she" doesn't do anything the sets it apart from my apps.

I try to use her mostly in the car while driving. She doesn't understand me most of the time, so it's an exercise in futility.

My DDs love talking to Siri! My eldest one will ask what the weather is like around here or anywhere else in the world... The younger one always giggles whenever Siri talks back. It's pretty funny to watch.

Eh, I don't use her much. She always misunderstands me. Maybe it's my accent...
I do use her when I'm driving though, usually to find music or directions, sometimes to make a call.

I hate Siri too. I used her once to compose a text message while driving and couldn't figure out how to separate it into sentences, add an exclamation point, fix errors, etc. I tried telling her to fix an error and she said, "OK, sending." Grr. Bitch. Every once in a while I'll use it to call somebody while driving, but for the most part, I find her pointless and irritating.
