I'm a WOHM/WAHM mom, so I don't use it as often as I did during maternity leave. And now that DS is 14 months, I usually just throw in a few dipes and wipes in my regular purse for quick outings!

Rarely. I usually bring it to my ILs, because we'll be there several hours, or anywhere else that we'll be a while, but I mostly just throw a diaper or two, travel wipes, a small snack container with goldfish, and an applesauce pouch in my purse.

Every weekend. Since she still spits up, I need an extra outfit, bib, and burb cloth. Then I pack pouches, diapers, etc.

LO is almost 16 months so we usually throw in a couple diapers & wipes in my purse unless it's an all day event. She has a backpack that she likes to take too.

@LuLu Mom: good point! need to unwrap ds' backpack! he'd LOVE that!

I use an EnviroSax bag with Cookie Monster on it. In the bag, I have my Skip Hop changing station, disposable place mats, a bib, a formula container with snacks, applesauce and pudding pouches, and a few toys. It seems like a lot, but it's just enough for our trips to the Conservatory or elsewhere now that he's almost 17 months old.

Not too much. I do the same ... throw a few things in my regular purse.

Not as much as I thought I would. If we go to one of our parents for a few hours I do. During the week though when I go to a movie or singing group with LO, I just bring a small backpack with a few things.

I'm surprised how infrequently I use mine. Usually we use DH's. But if we're using the stroller, we take mine, since it has clips

Almost every day!! But I can probably switch to just keeping diapers/wipes in the at and bringing a sippy cup and snacks in my purse soon.

@Smurfette: I think the age with pouches and bottles was the heaviest use our diaper bag has gotten. It gets much easier when they are on table food!!

@googly-eyes: I need to learn the art of not over packing! I mean we never need 5 diapers when out but I always bring that many.

@mrsjyw: all the older kids at DD's daycare bring a backpack so her eyes lit up when I showed her her's She thought she was hot stuff with it

Usually once a weekend. I love mine, so I like to use it. Down the road, I would like to get one that looks more like a purse--maybe a Kate Spade Stevie.

@Smurfette: yeah I want to get some kind of car organizer for the stuff I can't leave without but usually don't need.

Eh, occasionally. LO is almost 3 months, born in early November, and were up in MN where it's been one of the coldest winters yet, so we haven't fine out a whole lot. I hope we do soon, though, I bought a new bigger one...oops.

Not really. Only if Dh is carrying her in the ergo, as it's a shoulder bag and I can't use it if I have her.

@blackbird: Is *that* what those little straps with clips are for?!! I was just wondering this today!!
I'm still on maternity leave so I use mine every day but when I go back to work I will make sure I use it as often as possible because I love it! It's the nicest bag I've ever owned!

Yeah I use it daily. I use it as my purse and I recently bought a smaller bag since I don't have to carry as much now. DS is 15 months.

On the weekends, yes. I use it as my purse if I"m out with D. If I'm running out without him, I just take the matching clutch out and use that (it's a Timi and Leslie). I begged for it for Christmas, so I better freakin use it! Ha ha.

I carried my diaper bag with us everywhere when we just had DD. I carried it for the first 7ish months of life with 2, then retired it and threw stuff I needed in my purse.

Only if I'm going somewhere for at least a few hours. If we're just going to story time or Target I just bring wipes, snack cup and his water. I don't even bring diapers anymore cuz he poops on schedule.

DS is 6 months, and we've been using the Skip Hop diaper changing kit since birth. I put in a package of wipes, 3-5 diapers depending on how long we'll be out, and a change of outfit. I love how compact it is. I use our diaper bag as our traveling bag.

I hate carrying it around! With two though, I usually have too. But indefinitely don't use it as muh as I probably should haha I take gamble with not taking diapers shopping
pomegranate / 3414 posts
I use it if DS (16m) and I are going to be separated while out (church nursery mostly) otherwise I just throw a couple diapers and wipes in my purse. I will also leave it in the car if we are going out to eat but still want it near.

Everyday! I work full time and we travel so much! I make sure that sucker is always stocked. lol
pomelo / 5720 posts
Between our nanny and I we use it everyday. If I'm going on a quick outing I usually just take my wallet and have a spare diaper in the car.
pineapple / 12802 posts
Everyday! I carry around so much crap! Bebe au lait cover, change of clothes, 5ish diapers, travel wipes, dirty diaper baggies, receiving blanket (could probably take that out since I never use it!), bib, food, spoons, facecloth, toys, plus all my regular purse stuff, wallet, keys, sunglasses, lip chap.
God, I am such an overpacker! I need an intervention!
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
I hardly ever used it, it mostly sat unused on the shelf next to the door.

I use my diaper bag as my everyday bag because I HATE switching bags! This is why diaper bags are very important to me!! I carry diapers and wipes to work with me every day. The only time I switch bags is if I'm going out on a date night or something.
