Do you pop on a lot of other forums? Or do you mainly stick around here?
And have you tried entirely different boards? What was your experience like?
Do you find that building yourself a community help you stay sane while TTC?

Sometimes I google something and land on another board but the amount of times I come across horrible unsupportive things makes me glad I'm a member of HB and only HB!

I've looked at threads on other boards when they come up on google searches but I only frequent and participial ate on this one!

@Snowdrop- I have noticed those horrible things too! It makes me wonder if those boards don't have moderators?
I haven't come across any mean comments here on HB in the time I was lurking.I'm afraid that I might be prone to slipping into a negative place while TTC (Our RE doesn't give us beautiful odds)- I don't need anyone pushing me there! LOL

At some point I would visit the WeddingBee boards a bit, but I haven't commented there since I was a newlywed.
My crazy Google searches often point me to other random forums for "advice" too, but I never comment.
HB is the best IMO

I used to frequent Weddingbee when I was first engaged, but now this is the only board I participate in!

Just here! Like others, I sometimes do a google search that will lead me to another board, but I never poke around on another board. I trust everyone here and above all everyone is so supportive.
One other thing I like about HB is that the boards are so clean and streamlined. I hate how other boards have huge signatures, flashing emoticons, etc.

I belong to two other forums, one for photography one for childrens clothing I use to belong to Cavalier King Charles forums and another one for being pregnant which I was active on when I was pregnant with my son. I love forums and always find my way to whatever I am interested in at that moment in my life

I have an app on my phone that tracks my cycles that has a community on it. That is mostly when I am bored and never invest in seeing replys or follow peoples stories. I was on WB after I got engagesd and some TTC but it was almost overwhelming with how chatty is got. If I didn't check it daily and spend a good amount of time reading and responding I'd be lost and not keep up with the thread. But for TTC they are just as nice and supportive as here. Other forums can have such rude people.

I check the baby center forums when I'm bored since i got my BFP last month, and the app links me to my birth month group, but I never comment. Like you said - I'm shocked by how mean everyone can be on that board!

just HB. it's cozy & respectful, i feel comfortable here. honestly, sometimes i forget that we're out there on the web & that it's not just a group of friends chatting. people on the web are cold and forget that when they're talking about or to others- there's a person on the other end, not just a screen, but i don't feel that way here.

In addition to HB, I was on the Resolve.org forum for infertility when I was researching & doing my IVF cycle. The community here is the best and most supportive. But I was at a point where I needed to talk with and learn more from people who were dealing with some of my specific IF issues. As soon as I got PG, I have been exclusively back on HB!

I strictly support HB. I've visited others, but this community is the most supportive community I've ever been a part of.
