I have very good friends but not a BFF. I think I'm probably just too weird, and my family moved around a lot. I'd love to have one, but maybe I'm too old now. It seems like it would be fun!
Do you have a BFF? If not do you want one?

@sslm: Hahaha
DH and my sister are my bffs too. I've been stabbed in the back one too many times by "friends" and "best friends" :T

I have 3 childhood best friends that I'm still very close with, even though we are all scattered around the country now. One lives right in my town and is married to Wagon Sr.'s college roommate (and probably closest friend). I also have a college roommate I'm close with, but she lives far away as well. Since I feel really loyal to all 4 of those girls, and all of our friendships go so far back, I find it hard to get close to other girls.
Wagon Sr. is my bff.

In a lot of ways, my husband is my best friend. But I consider my college roommate my best friend too. We live in neighboring towns, see each other every weekend, go on vacations together and email almost daily!

I want and have a BFF. We live in different states but we've been friends for 16 years. We talk every day. We got married 6 months apart and her son/my godson is a year, while my LO is 2 months. I wish we lived closer but we see each other in person once or twice a year.

I don't but I wish I did. I just moved too many times to really establish that relationship. I think of DH as my BFF but sometimes I wish I had a girl that was my go-to person.

DH is my BFF, and I also have my (soon to be ex) SIL BFF...she's more like a sister to me than a SIL, though. I've chosen her over my stepbrother (her soon to be ex-husband). There's also BFF C that I've known since Freshman year of high school, but she moved to Virginia, and I rarely see her, which makes me sad.

@Mrs. Bee: I'm weird too- we can be bff's
@chopsuey119: I'll be your bff too. Actually for real I totally think we'd be good friends :):)
I had one from 5th grade- past high school. We were such good friends. We are still friends but it's not the same. I "grew up" a lot sooner than she did (married, baby etc), and we had a huge fight right before my wedding that changed everything,
Now my mom and sister are my closest buds. My sister and I are in the same life stages too, married with babies 6 mos apart!
But yeah I wish for a bff sometimes too. But I'm happy with DH and how close I am with my family.

Oh I should say I'd totally have one if I lived in NY! we met when we lived there and became good friends instantly. She's Obe of ny only NY friends I keep in touch with. It's hard being so far apart.

I wish I had close friends...I'm not very good about opening up and letting people in because I tend to think too many things should stay private. Plus, I have a pretty huge fear of rejection so I don't go out of my way to be outgoing and try to initiate friendships which means I tend to not have many friends, let alone a BFF.

I'd love a local friend. I only have two real friends, one lives in VA and one in MI, and I'm in FL. It's sad.

@Mrs. Bee: You're never too weird for a BFF!

I don't have a BFF but I would like to have one. DH is definitely my best friend but I would love to have a close girlfriend who lives near me!! None of my childhood friendships have really carried on into adulthood though.

@sslm: LMAO! What a tease right!
My hubby is my BFF. I have a girlfriend back home that we communicate frequently, but we act more like sisters than anything and share everything so I guess we're BFFs.

I feel so lucky to have 3 gals from school that I'm still super close to.
Actually I invited my BFF to join HB, she's expecting in October!

I'd love a local one! DH is my BFF but it'd be nice to have a girl one too My sister and I are really close but we're in very very different life stages so it makes it hard to relate. It makes me sad =/

My BFF is actually my old babysitter. She's 9 years older than me but she grew up across the street from me and has been looking out for me since I was 3 months old. I love her big time : )

Friendship is so hard as you get older... I think my husband and family are my bffs right now! My best girlfriends mostly live far away (London, LA)... One of my formerly best girlfriends just lives in TriBeCa but we don't see each other much since we each had babies. I'm not sure if it's her issue, my issue, or our issue, but I think our priorities are just different now. I really had to take a step back and just enjoy the times I do get to see her. But it bums me out that I'm in better touch with my London and LA friends than I am with my TriBeCa gf.

No, don't have BFF. I would say my husband would be my BFF but I often wish for a BFF of the same gender that I can vent too. I do have some great girlfriends that I get together with every few months but no one I can talk to on a daily basis. That's why I am so glad for my girls. They can keep each other company throughout their lives.
