I'm torn. I grew up in a family of all women so to me, being around girls is natural. All of my cousins are girls and I only have nieces. I haven't spent any time around little boys and when I'm around my friend's boys, I just don't really know how to interact with them. I have this image in my head of DH being surrounded my girls putting bows in his hair and sisters running around our house.
That being said, I was always so jealous of my friend Kara who grew up with 3 older brothers. I wish I had brothers to "protect" me and play with. I also think DH would raise an amazing young man. Everyone says we should have a boy so there are more boys like DH around

I go back and forth - I would love one of each. I wonder if I will have stronger feelings towards one sex when I get pregnant.
@luckypenny: What a sweet compliment to your DH

I have a daughter, which is what I wanted more, so that made me happy. I'd really be sad to never have a son, though, for our (hopefully) one more child. The upside to that would be a sister for my daughter. But I'd really miss having the experience of a son, and I'd be sad to never see my husband with a son.

@luckypenny: aww so sweet!
I have a son and I LOVE him and love having a boy. I do hope to have a girl, but I'm so blessed to have a boy.

For some reason I think I'm destined to be a mom of only boys. I've always found boys to be so cute, but then it's weird to think of never having a girl because I consider myself to be girly and all the mommy-daughter stuff would be so fun. So, I'm really torn! We're TTC and I can honestly say I'd be happy with either!

Yes! I want #2 to be a boy SO badly. We're going to try all the tricks while TTC to stack the odds in our favor!

I love having both, really! So much. If I could choose, I would want another daughter because I had 3 sisters and I'm very close with them. I want my son to have more than one sister and my daughter to experience the bond sisters have.

we are opposite! DH has two nephews who are quite active so when it came for our first, we were hoping a little for a girl. Well, LO turned out to be a boy! When we found out we were having a 2nd, that hope came back for a girl. Well, found out we are having another boy!....i'm glad that my two boys can play with one another...i'm so outnumbered right now though!

We'd love one of each - I know DH would be thrilled with a son first but I don't mind either way.

I've always wanted one of each. We recently learned that we're having a second son. I admit that I'm a little sad about never having a girl (we're two and through for the foreseeable future), but I am so excited for DS to have a baby brother. I can't wait to see them interact and I'm so excited that they'll basically have built in best friends.

I always knew I'd have a boy. And I have a gut feeling that if we were to have a second we would have another boy, I'd love that! I love being a mama of a little man.

I have always only wanted a son and I have one. I love being the only girl in the house.
