The only time I ever did that was when my son was in the NICU and there was a timer for washing hands. 30 seconds washing your hands feels like forever!

Not at the work bathrooms because the water is so cold! They are automatic and it's painful if I wash them for more than 5 seconds. I use a lot of hand sanitizer!

I started doing this when a public health worker friend of mine reminded me that antibacterial does kill viruses, just bacteria (duh, yet- I didn't think about it!). I'm far from perfect but i would say I wash for 20-30 seconds at least 50% of the time. (I'm pregnant so I use the bathroom an awful lot!)

I sing the ABCs in my head (out of habit). I don't know how long it takes to do so, but I assume at least 15 seconds.

The length of my hand washing depends on what I've been doing and how public the bathroom is. After #2 or #2 diaper change, yes. After #1 at home it's shorter than that.

If we have an active virus in the house, longer! If we don't, then probably around 15-20 seconds.

Nope, I'm disgusting too! I find it dries my hands out too much to clean them all the time

Yes, 15 - 20. I always use soap. I always wash properly.
I work with the public, so I have to and it's a habit I've made. The only downside is that sometimes the soap dries out my skin in the winter.
