In the summer we do because the kids get dirty at the playground and it's hot/humid. But with all the layers the kids wear in the winter, I've been reusing undershirts and shirts worn under sweaters. I'm thinking I should reuse pants too if they look clean since I don't wash my jeans until I've worn them who knows how many times. We just have way too much laundry!
Do you wash all your LO's clothes after every wear or do you rewear them?

Pajamas get at least two wears, sometimes three. Jeans will sometimes get two uses but normally she gets something on them that pants and shirts only get one wear. Onesies get two wears as well, most of the time.

Its case by case, for the most part, yes because she's messy, but jeans will often get a second wear, as well as hoodies/zip ups over shirts.

Yes, she's a disaster and I don't like the wrinkled look that clothes get after a day's worth of wearing. Thankfully she has a LOT of options in her drawers right now so I don't have to do laundry a lot.

I wash everything. My son sits all over the place at daycare and I feel like he has enough that I don't have to repeat. Plus, I don't like storing worn clothes.

No. He eats without clothes to minimize stains so his clothes don't get incredibly dirty. If we washed after every wear we'd spend so much money doing laundry! He also takes up to 2-3 baths a day so he's never very dirty.

I wash everything every time he wears them. Kids are dirty! Who knows what he's touched or wiped on his clothes. Plus he has plenty to spare and my mom does his laundry!

I reuse pjs if they're clean and anything else that is clean if we haven't been out and about (ie in a shopping cart). But she's only 8 months and not mobile yet.

PJs are two wears, but everything else gets washed after 1 wear. She goes to daycare full time, so I like to wash out all the germs she comes in contact with before she wears things again.

We wash everything. She's still crawling, and is at daycare all day. I just feel better having everything clean. I will reuse pjs occasionally.

PJs are usually one wear only, because he's leaked overnight or they get messy from breakfast.
Jeans and sweatpants usually get a few wear between washing, and everything else is a piece by piece basis. Depends on whether or not we've been playing outside (he'll almost always get muddy) or he's spilled food on them.

I'd say usually I have to wash after one wear because he gets pretty dirty, but if an item looks and smells ok I'll save it.

Yep!! She gets messy eating, crawling, spit up every day. PJ's during the week are wore twice. Weekends since she stays in them longer, are worn once.

Yes at this age she drools, spots up or poops on almost everything. Hopefully as she gets older we can get a couple more wears out of some outfits.

Yep! By the end of the day every piece of clothing either has drool, poop, pee or food on it. Straight into the wash they go!

I re-use pajamas (two nights), jackets/coats, and pants. She usually wears sweats or thick pants in the morning for her walks with grandma, then switches to leggings or something lighter in the afternoon (maybe shorts if it's warm). Unless she gets in a mud puddle at the park, she'll wear the same pants again the next day.
Shirts usually get washed because she's a messy eater.

Yes, she is crawling everywhere and bottoms get so dirty. She's also a messy eater, so tops get stained. PJs get one wear only because I feel like the moisturizers get into the fabric, so we use fresh ones every night. Only outwear doesn't really get washed every time.

Swimsuits get rinsed and hung to dry without washing multiple times. Everything else is mostly washed after one wear.
Even though he's not messy, he does tend to get sweaty running around, and it's rare that in the course of a day he hasn't been out and about somewhere semi-gross (like a grocery store shopping cart or a library chair), so I wash it all. He only goes through one outfit per day these days and doesn't wear pajamas, so it's not a huge amount of laundry.

Yep. The only thing I don't wash every day are jackets, hoodies sweaters and tutu skirts that DD wears at home.

I reuse pants occasionally if they look totally clean. Even with bibs she is a spitter/drooler but if a top looks clean I might save it. I am a little paranoid about her smelling like stale puke though.
