I watched a documentary about people who dumpster dive, not because they can't afford food but because they hate that food gets wasted.
While I think that's gross and never would do that, it made me think about how much food we waste. Hubby doesn't like leftovers (he's crazy, I love them!) so it's up to me to eat all of our leftovers. I try to make small portions, but it's hard for me to judge how much to make. Today I went through my fridge and threw out 3 tupperwares of food. I need to work on that!
