I wear contacts daily (glasses just before bed), but DH wears glasses daily and contacts for special occasions, etc.

Same as your statement. I have worn contacts since H.S. & can put in on in a matter of seconds. My DH finds them uncomfortable but will wear contacts for special occasions only.

Not yet but both of my parents do and my oldest brother so I imagine in time I will too!

I don't need glasses, so I don't wear either! Sometimes I want to try coloured contacts, but I'm too wimpy lol.

Contacts during the day and glasses at night and sometimes on the weekend. I wanted LASIK but was rejected :(.

@Alivoo01: Contacts Since 2nd grade? That's so cool! You must have been a very responsible 2nd grader.

I wear contacts most of the time. I wear my glasses in the evening and when I'm home.

@Kimberlybee: haha! It wasn't by choice! My vision got worse 3x between 1st grade and 2nd grade so the optometrist thought putting me in contact lenses would help slow the deterioration. It didn't so when I was in 3rd grade, I was put in hard contacts (gas permeables) and that's when my vision finally started slowly deterioriating at the rate of a new vision per year. I'm currently considered technically blind.

I've worn glasses since 4th grade, and was allowed to get contacts in 8th so I wore those through HS and college. Since graduating and entering the work force, I switched back to glasses full time with contacts for special occasions like your DH. I used to work in the lab, so contacts were either explicitly not allowed or were discouraged and I just got used to it! Even now years into an admin/supervisor role I still wear my glasses full time.

Glasses for everyday and contacts for special occasions (or when I see MIL because she never has anything nice to say about my glasses).

Glasses...I used to wear contacts full time, but once I started staying at home with my son, I started wearing glasses so I could grab a nap here and there....I haven't been home in a year and I am still rocking the specs.

Contacts, usually, but I just retired them for the winter. My eyes are extremely dry, so in the winter, it's more comfortable for me to wear my glasses. But I'll wear my contacts for special occasions or when I know a lot of pictures will be taken (I hate the glare!).

Since LO got much more mobile, I went back to wearing contacts full time. Before he was born and when he was little, I wore my glasses all the time. I've been wearing glasses and contacts since I was really young.

Contacts! Glasses in the morning and night around the house. R pulls at them all the time.

Contacts and glasses right before bed! I would love to rock glasses all the time but they give me a headache since they need to be adjusted super tight to stay on my face....I'm Asian and I don't have much of a bridge to my nose so they always slip off, so annoying. Even the ones with the little nose pads!

I wear contacts most days if I'm going to be out and about and then switch to my glasses later in the evening. I don't like driving without sunglasses. I have Rx sunglasses but they're not quite the same. I used to sleep in my contacts but then I found out I may have been able to get LASIK so I stopped on doctor's advice. I never went back to sleeping in them even after I found out my eyes were too bad for LASIK.
