I'm due for an eye exam and since returning to work my eyes have been soooooo sore after staring at my computer screen all day long. I'm 28 this weekend and I don't have glasses yet, hoping that it's not time to start

@prettylizy: I did for a number of years, but my husband and I got tired (and lazy) of paying for them. We've both been in glasses 100% since 2011. I have three pair and like switching them up. So much easier on my eyes.

Yes! I wear them all the time when I work from home!

Been wearing them since I was 5 contacts since I was 12. It's not so bad

@aprk: I'm stealing your answer format.
Proud glasses wearer since 1983. Age 2.

I used to. I wore them from age 8 until 21 (but not full time until I was 14). I could never do contacts because I hate anything touching my eyes. I got Lasik done 2 years ago and it was the best decision ever!

I've had corrective lenses since I was around 3 or 4. I prefer glasses over contacts.

@prettylizy: I've been wearing glasses since I was six. When you have your perscription, I suggest checking out Coastal Eyewear (you get your first pair free, Google the promo code "firstpairfree" or something like that). I also love Warby Parker & Mezzmer. I have glasses from all 3 places, and they're great!

I got glasses when I was 25 after starting my first job, also from looking at a computer all day. I have a feeling ill look back and regret my choice of glasses because they're pretty geeky, but right now I actually like them

I've worn them every single day since I was seven.
Honestly, I don't know who I am/what i would look like without my glasses. Haven't even considered contacts!

I have been wearing glasses for 5 years. Without them my world is not crisp and clear.

I did every day until I got LASIK last summer. Best decision ever! It's so nice waking up being able to see the alarm clock!

Yup, because I'm terrified of things going near my eyes, so contacts never worked out for me. Going to the eye doctor is like going to the dentist for some. I hate it.

I wear contacts during the day and put my glasses on before I go to bed. Glasses stay on until I shower or get tired of wearing glasses.
I can't wait to get lasik

Since 3rd grade. I'll fiddle with contacts for special occasions but wearing glasses is just easier. I actually need to go for an exam, my eyes feel super tired lately.

I wear glasses. I also have contacts so wherever I going or or not running behind I can wear those

Glasses wearer for 23 years (Wow that makes me sound/feel old lol), contacts for 14 years!

I've worn them since the 7th grade. I had plenty of vision problems before that but was in denial, ha. Sometimes I think I should switch to contacts, but I haven't yet. I will most likely just wait a while and save so I can have lasik.

I remember reading that pregnancy and lactation can affect your vision temporarily, so I've been putting off getting a new glasses prescription until breastfeeding is totally finished.

Nope. DH and I both have better than 20/20 vision. I am going to be so sad the day I find out I need glasses. We're hoping that our genetics carried through to DD... so far she seems to have great vision, although it is hard to tell with such a young child.

I've been in glasses since 9th grade, but I usually wear contacts during the day.

Yup! Been in glasses since kindergarten and contacts since the 2nd grade. I'm pretty much technically blind.
