I wear glasses. And really need to order a few extra cheap pairs because LO loves to grab them off my face!

I did until I had LASIK a couple of years ago. Best.Thing.Ever. I'm hoping it keeps me glasses free for a while yet!

Yes. I used to wear contacts but now I have chronic dry eye so I can't wear them anymore. I want LASIK someday!

I wore glasses or contacts until I had LASIK in 2009. Now I still need them for driving or movie watching- I can see ok without but feel better with. My prescription is very light now.

Yep, wear them probably 80-90% of the time. They are super thick and ugly even with the thinnest lenses. Warby Parker doesn't make lenses in a high enough power for me to wear. And I'm not a candidate for LASIK b/c I'm too nearsighted (corneas too thin). I wear my contacts the other ~ 10% of the time but unfortunately I have a lot of chronic dry eye/irritation so I can only tolerate short wear periods. So basically, special occasions.

Yes, since college! I switched to contacts in grad school, but have backup glasses for the mornings and night. I actually need to get a new pair since LO just broke mine in half!

yep, since I was 12. I'm considering laser eye surgery once i'm done having kids, though it scares the crap out of me.

Yep. My prescription is far too strong for the soft more comfortable contact lenses and the idea of Lasik terrifies me. It's not really something I think about anymore - I've been wearing them every day since second grade, so I think I look weird without them on (although I only know what I look like without them from pictures!) and don't even think about it when I take them off at night, put them on in the morning, or have to adjust them or something, it's a reflexive sort of thing.

Yep, and I don't mind them that much. The only time it's a problem is in the summer, when I am in and out of the pool.

Yep, been wearing them since I was 15, would feel weird without them. I have no interest in LASIK; several friends have had less than perfect outcomes and several are now back wearing glasses. I have never had a problem wearing them and actually feel more confident when I have them on. Kinda weird but I do!
