I actually wear both. I have pretty bad vision, unfortunately. Here's to hoping LO get's DH's eye sight and not mine! Do you wear glasses or contacts? Both?

DH and I both wear glasses, so it's probably inevitable for LO!

Contacts. If I'm having a lazy day I'll wear my glasses but they usually hurt my ears if I wear them too long! And I'm too blind to wear nothing.

We both wear both. I would say Monday thru Friday we mostly wear glasses and are weekend contact wearers. We also wear are contacts ore in the summer so we can wear sunglasses easier.

When I had bad vision I wore contacts all of the time... slept with them in and everything (awful I know). Wearing glasses reminded me of my blindness so I preferred the ignorance of contacts. Anyway, I ended up getting LASIK - best investment ever.

Both, but I prefer contacts if I'm leaving the house/driving. I have awful vision, I've worn glasses since third grade and contacts since 8th.

Glasses. At all times. They are one of the few things that the baby gets yelled at for touching.

@Bao: If you can do it - do it! I had a pretty bad prescription .. I think around -7ish. I couldn't function without my glasses/contacts. It made me feel vulnerable and I didn't like it. If you add up the cost of paying for contacts and new frames/lenses for the rest of your life - it is pretty cost effective.

@REESE: Do you know how much it is, off the top of your head? I can't function without them either!

I am sure it depends on where you live. I paid the "maximum" cost they had because of the technology I chose and my strong prescription. If I remember correctly, for both eyes, it was around $5500. I had the surgery several years ago

I wear contacts when I remember to put them in. My eyesight isn't that bad. I can see without them, but I get headaches.

Contacts, then my glasses at night if at home and before bed.

Neither DH and I are the only ones in both of our families that don't

I have both but rarely use my contacts. DH had PRK surgery in 2010. He wore contacts before that.

I have both but really don't wear my contacts all that much (usually only when I'm attempting to look halfway decent or if I know I'll be on the production floor at work and need to wear safety glasses)...so I'm usually in glasses!

I wear glasses, I am horrible at putting contacts in. DH wears glasses but has contacts. We both want to get LASIK in the future although I might still wear glasses sometimes just for the look.

I always wear my glasses, but in contacts for special occasions (weddings, parties, etc)

Glasses since I was 6, contacts since I was 10. I do glasses at night and mornings, contacts once I'm ready for the day.
I had a corneal scratch this past summer and had to wear only glasses for 6 weeks- it sucked, but wasn't as bad add I thought it would be.
