I don't wear them, but I love how they look and wish I could pull them off.

I think they're adorable, but i can never figure out how to make them stay on or look right on my big dome

I agree-- I like the way they look on other people, but any time I try to pull them off I look like I'm coming from the gym or cleaning my house or something. It's never the casual, 'oh I just threw this together and look so stylish' look I think it will be. It just screams (truthfully) I didn't wash my hair and I'm trying to cover it up.

I used to wear them a lot in college, so now I always feel young or sloppy when I do.

I don't wear head scarves, but I do wear a scarf daily. Love the burst of color and fun prints that scarves add.

I wear a headscarf;) hehe. Different than what you're talking about.
But I did buy this headband the other day and love it!

A couple of times a week. Since my hair is short, it's a great way to change up styles and even better on bad hair days.

@CupQuakeWalk: hehe do you always wear a headscarf?
@mrsjazz: you pull it off so well!! I think you posted a picture awhile ago

@mrsjazz: cuz she's sexy! Don't be jealy.
@Mrs. Pen: I wear it in public (around stranger men) but not at home or around family or around girls/friends...basically out in public.

Nope - I think if I was in my 20's I could pull it off though but not now!

I think they are awesome, but I can't figure out how to make it work with my short, bushy, curly hair. It's not long enough to pull up in a cute messy bun and it would just bush out behind it if I tried to wear it as a headband.

@avivoca: what about with bobby pins? I'm not hairstylist but I'm pretty good with other people's hair - my sister has short curly hair and I always used to pin up her hair in a messy bun sort of way, but not really a bun because her hair wasn't long enough. But it was super cute and would have looked great with a headband!

I used to wear scarves sometimes, not so much now but maybe I should get a few because they are cute! I really like headbands but they are hard to wear with my glasses, so I can only wear them on days I wear contacts (which is increasingly rare at this point due to some dry eye issues).
@CupQuakeWalk: Random, but I've always been curious. What happens if someone knocks on your door? Do you check to see who it is before opening it? Or do you keep a scarf near the door for quick access in the event of the UPS man?

@avivoca: Nothing wrong with that...my hair is short and in afro and I wear headbands all the time. You could totally rock one!

In the summer I've pulled them out, but I have a small head, I feel like they overtake it!

@Mae: same! I mostly wear glasses and only occasionally contacts. But I have some super awesome glasses that actually make it kind of cute to pair with scarves..
kind of like this (mine are thick-rimmed like this, but green)

I wouldn't say it looks cute at all, but I wear a stretchy headband whenever I have my hair wet and up. otherwise, I end up looking like the lion king. I use it to help my hair dry flat!
