I usually just wear lipgloss but even when I wear lipstick, I never wear lipliner. My friend, who is a makeup artist, was appalled that I don't wear lipliner with my lipsticks. haha.
Do you wear lipliner with your lipsticks?

I did in 8th grade. But I don't wear lipstick now. Lip gloss is for fancy occasions in my world.

haha, I never used to, but now if I'm doing something fancy, I'll wear liner. But I usually line my lips AND fill them in with the liner before applying gloss (or lipstick) because it helps keep the color longer.

@adira: Oh yeah, I used to do that in college (fill lips in with liner). But then it started drying out my lips (I have horribly dry lips) so I had to stop doing that.

I only wear lip gloss now but I’ve always been too scared to wear liner, even with lipstick. I must not do it right or something because it always looks odd!

@running elley: I know what you mean! I don't think I do it right cause it always makes my lips looks SUPER full and weird! Plus my lips don't have a super defined shaped so when I line them, they look so weird!

No, but then the most I ever do is lipgloss, usually just chapstick!

@banana: Ahhh, I don't do it nearly often enough to have that problem I don't think.
Although my lips have become EXTREMELY sensitive lately, so now I pretty much skip anything except vaseline.

Rarely, or for special occasions . . . for daily wear, I stick to gloss (and I might be slightly ocd about it :P).

I like lipgloss too but I always find myself playing around with my lips if I wear it. I play less with my lips if I'm wearing chapstick or lipstick for some reason. What's your favorite lipgloss brand? -
It varies widely . . . I love MAC's lip glass for its staying power and great neutral options (but it's sticky, so not for windy situations!). I am currently wearing Beauty Rush gloss from VS for its sheerness (just a hint of color), and because it smells, and tastes(!) great.

I only ever wear Burt's Bees chapstick, haha! I don't even own any lipstick, let alone lipliner.

@Banana: I always wear liner with lipstick. But I use the same neutral shade to outline my lips (regardless of lipstick color), and then blend the lipstick color into/with the liner with a lip brush. Even though it's my preference, I don't think lip liner is a necessity.
